Together For Children was started by the state of Oregon in 1988, became a not-for-profit in 2004, and serves families with young children in Bend, Redmond, and Sisters. Their goal is to enhance the lives of children by strengthening families through parent education, parent/child interaction, and community support. They do this through in-person groups in each community that encourages the socialization of both parents and children, forming bonds and support of parents with like-aged children, and education, provided by experienced well trained professionals. Over the years they have served more than 4,000 families and continue to be a vital part of each community.
