Mission 22 is great as it has only one goal: ending veteran suicide. That clear mission makes it extremely accessible to every and makes the conversation ms around suicide possible. It’s ok to not be ok.
I joined Mission22 in 2017, after personally losing far too many fellow veterans to suicide. I became an Ambassador in South Carolina, and every veteran I am able to help, comes back to help me ten fold, wether they know it or not. I will continue to be a lifelong member of this incredible organization.
I volunteered for Mission 22 for a couple years doing everything from being an ambassador to state leader in two states. I can honestly say that there is nothing like it. It’s not just an organization, it’s a family. Everyone you meet is so welcoming and has the biggest heart. Everyone who volunteers puts so much effort into the cause and it’s something amazing to be apart of!
I joined Mission 22 as an Ambassador almost a year ago. It has been a wonderful experience. The programs Mission 22 provides to our Veterans and their families free of charge are life saving. Creating awareness and raising money for such a great organization has become a central purpose in my life and I am proud to be a able to give back to the ones who make this great country possible.
I have been involved as a volunteer with Mission 22 for almost two years. It makes me so proud to wear my M22 gear and display my M22 Flag because it lives up to its mission to "Help Veterans When They Need It Most, Right Now!" Best nonprofit I have ever been involve in. Thanks for all you do for us.
I've been with Mission 22 since 2018. Mission 22 gave me a purpose when I desperately needed one. It gave me hope. Everyone that's a part of this amazing organization is 100% dedicated and committed to our veterans. I am a veteran who suffers with PTSD and the programs and support I get with Mission 22 is unmatched and necessary. The VA shouldn't be our o KY choice I getting the help we need because it's not always a good choice. Mission 22 changed my life.
I have been an Ambassador with Mission22 for 4 years and have had the opportunity to share our mission with many. Seeing the relief in their eyes when they realize that people not only understand but want to help, is life changing.
Most recently there was a Nationwide Walk to bring awareness to Veteran Suicide and we had over 100 people coming to support Veterans, Their Families, and the Community!
Every day 22 Veterans WILL take their life due to PTS, TBI, or Military Sexual Trauma - Mission22 is making an impact and I am proud to be a part of such an amazing resource!
I wanted to take the time to share my thoughts on the Mission 22 organization. I found them thru a merchandise company in my state thousands of miles where Mission is headquartered. When I looked into what they do and how they do it, I was overwhelmed by the vast network of ambassadors, and their dedication to supporting the mission. The Mission 22's leadership is integral to the programs successes and fully understand the needs of the Veterans and their families, that they serve. Thankful for the great work done by Mission 22@
Mission 22 goes above & beyond to raise awareness & fight veteran suicide. Their programs are saving lives!
As a ambassador of Mission 22 I have been able to help so many just spending a few min to speak with someone can change a whole chain of events.
Is am a disabled vet with PTSD.. it’s hard to explain to people the demons that we fight . Sometimes it just takes a simple “hi how you how can I help” I have a service dog that does that for me everyday . This organization seriously is the best non profit out there for vets fighting the war at home . Love these people .. great thing is not all are vets just people want time to help !
Mission 22 was their when my family needed help after our son died. We are honored that our son was picked to be one of the mission 22 silhouettes..
Mission 22 provides programs to help veterans. Enough said. They have incredible programs and incredible people all working to make things a little better for our veterans. Grateful to be a part of it. Grateful for the people that I have met because of it. And grateful to see those are affected by what Mission 22 does.

I had heard of this organization but was never very familiar. Then we had Sarah Sparks, a State Leader in Indiana, speak to our run club. I learned more about the organization and knew I wanted to be involved. I began as an ambassador and about a year later became a co-State Leader for Indiana. I have seen and heard from people that Mission 22 is making a difference and I am honored to do my part.
This is an amazing organization! I am very excited to see them grow and help so many more vets and their families!

Mission 22 is a non-profit who combats the ever-rising veteran suicide rate. Every day, more than twenty veterans are lost to suicide. Mission 22 wants to bring that number to zero. It does this with three main programs; veteran treatment
I’ve never in my life been so proud and honored to be a part of something as big, and important as Mission22! They are like family helping each other out no matter what so we can spread the word and get that 22 to NONE! I highly recommend volunteering, or if needed contact them for information, and help! Nobody fights alone! Thank you to all veterans and your families! We will never forget

Mission22 is wonderful for stepping up and speaking out- I love volunteering with this nonprofit because although we all have a different story to tell, we are one big family and all have the same goal in mind- I appreciate being a part of something that is so much bigger than me-
Very proud to he a volunteer. Mission 22 Is a amazing group of people trying to make a difference in the lives of others. Together we can raise awareness and offer support with the ultimate goal of bringing 22 down to 0!
Great group of volunteers working together to battle veteran suicide. Love being a part of this mission
I came to know this great organization bc a dear friend lost her husband to this. They were both my friends. Its bc of M22 that I was able to cope and learn of all the resources available. TY to all who do this selfless work.
I became part of Mission22 after losing my husband to suicide. Mission22 is our way to heal and keep our loved ones memory alive. We meet new people every time we are out and we are educating the public on stigma with suicide and bringing attention to the 20 (+/-) Veterans that for everyday to suicide. Until zero, I will be Mission22.
As a Marine Veteran and volunteer, I absolutely love this nonprofit. Most runs I participate in I wear my Mission 22 gear to raise awareness. Being part of Mission 22 gives me the feeling that I am making a difference! PTS and TBI are the top reasons we lose Veterans daily. We are here to help and let them know they are not alone, we care and they matter!
As the wife of a disabled combat veteran with TBI and PTS, I can attest this organization saves lives. I make it my mission to spread that message to others who need that too.
Mission 22 has been lifesaving for me, the programs, and the family feeling is beyond words. Also being a volunteer has helped me with my anxiety and start interacting with public again.

I found Mission 22 after talking with a classmate who was an Ambassador. Once I researched and found out more about the mission, I knew I had to jump on board. As someone who deals with PTSD, I can share my story of almost becoming one of the 22. Getting out in the community and spreading the word on how we can end veteran suicide, is something I feel everyone should do. The mission is so much larger than what meets the eye.
This is a beautiful organization filled with the most giving, open hearted people with the kindest souls. Everyone is here because they truly understand what it is like to be affected by loss and never want anyone to feel hopeless or like they have no one to turn to for help. Thanks to this group, no one ever has to feel alone again because if they reach out, these people will give their all. I fully support and respect everyone involved in Mission 22, 100% and am so proud and honored to be a part of this and making sure that no soldier is left behind. ;IGY6
I was so lost after losing my brother, a veteran, to suicide. I found Mission 22 during a push-up social media challenge and began volunteer work. I was so angry and isolated and connecting with veterans and their families has brought me so much healing and restored peace and purpose in my life. Everyday I see people step out of hopelessness and become happy and healthy. Their endless efforts to reach the hurting, their spirit of unity, and their altruistic endeavors make Mission 22 my charitable organization of choice.
Mission 22 is doing great things for the veterans community by raising awareness of veterans suicide, PTSD and by helping veterans reach out to resources they need. It's a great group of people with an amazing goal.
Mission 22 is a amazing group of people, with a wonderful welcoming group of volunteers. All of the ambassadors are the kindest people. We are all in this together trying to make sure our veterans are okay. This organization has been extremely beneficial to so many, veterans and their families. It has also been extremely beneficial in communities, spreading awareness to those who didn't realize exactly what these veterans are facing and going through.
I have been with mission 22 for over a year and have been blessed to meet some amazing people . The heart that goes into each event and just our every day bringing awareness is truly phenomenal. This big beautiful family of ours is one to be proud of, the more lives we can help brighten and change the better. This organization has so many fantastic people helping our vets in such an important way
Mission22 has been a big part of my life. I am a veteran and I have PTS and at one time struggled with wanting to call it quits. Being apart of Mission22 has not only alows me help spread awareness to but I have also have gain a giant family. Each day approximately 22 veterans commit Suicide. With the help of each community out there we can and will bring that number to zero. Donating money help veterans and there families know their not alone
I have volunteered for mission 22 for 2 years and seen first hand what a great impact they are having saving our veterans lives
I recently lost my God son to suicide, literally three weeks ago. I had no clue where to turn for support. One of his friends told me about Mission22, so I immediately seeked them out. They welcomed me with open arms. They provided the support that I needed to get through this unimaginable pain. I am now an Ambassador for Mission 22. I am honored to be a part of such an amazing nonprofit. Our hearts are genuine and we all have the same goal, to end veteran suicide. My Godson was only 28 years old. He was such an amazing person with a huge heart. All he ever wanted to do in life was make a difference. I have chosen to pick up where he left off, and honor him by spreading awareness in hopes of preventing anymore suicides. Everything I do will be to honor him and so many others! Mission 22 is making a difference and I am honored to be a small part of that.
I am an Oklahoma Ambassador for Mission 22! Just finished my first event at the Great State Fair of Oklahoma and Mission 22 really came through for me and for the Veterans attending the Fair. We got information into the hands of so many! What drew me to Mission 22 was their "GOLD STANDARD" .. over 88% of all donations go back to the Veterans! THAT is something to be proud of!!
Thanks Mission 22!
I have been a volunteer for Mission22 for almost 4 years and it’s an honor to be able to work with such and amazing organization. Veterans lives are being saved though our treatment programs we offer. Mission22 and the Volunteers are doing their part by working hard to end Veteran Suicide. I’m just blessed I can be here to help and be part of the solution.
I found Mission 22 while on vacation in Pigeon Forge for Jeep Invasion. One of the Jeeps had a Mi22ion decal.
I started researching what the mission consisted of, and possibly more importantly, where were donations being spent to help Veterans.
I could only find positive comments, notes, and feedback. So I applied for an Ambassador roll. After being accepted, I have volunteered for one event, but followed many events all over the United States. Each event has been filled with positive veterans and supporters that truly care. People that want to make a difference.
It is very important to me for both male and female veterans be treated with respect. Other veteran groups I have previously helped, could sometimes be thought of as a “boys club”. Mission 22 has shown nothing but professionalism. I believe, M22 is here to stay, and will continue to do great things all over the US. I am excited to be considered as part of District 11’s family.
God bless our veterans and their family’s.
My husband and I have been volunteers A.K.A ambassadors with Mission 22 for about 2 years now. We are beyond proud to represent the great work Mission 22 does to benefit our veterans!
Living in New York, we are a bit far from headquarters, but the communication and assistance we receive makes it feel as if they are right there with us at every turn!
Mission 22 has helped out in so many ways. From informing me how many veterans take their lives on a daily basis to what programs are out there for our veterans. I myself am a Marine combat veteran who suffers from PTSD. So i know what these veterans we talk to are going though and have went through. It’s a scary place to be in but with the help of mission 22 and it’s many programs and ambassadors, veterans will feel at home and comfortable. So please spread awareness for our veterans. I am also the Southeast state leader of Florida. Semper Fi.
