Mission: The Texas Tap Ensemble is involved with a neighborhood arts program that targets "at-risk" children. The collective goal of the TTE is to expose these youngsters to different forms of dance through quality dance instruction. TTE awards $20,000 in scholarships to dancers who would not have the opportunity to train with out financial assistance. TTE offers a regional touring program sponsored in part by CACHH, which provides free programming in the Houston area. TTE also performs at Miller Outdoor Theatre an average of five times a year. These shows are free to the public.
