Mission: Creating a new future for adults recovering from mental illness through the positive power of meaningful work, community, choice and hope.
Programs: Other clubhouse services fall into one of the following: vocational development, employment in the community, social and recreational events, nutritional development and food security, linkage with educational opportunities and non-traditional case management. The foundation of all clubhouse services is the philosophy which emphasizes the restorative power of relationships. Clubhouse members are involved in every aspect of the overall operation. They are engaged in and are an integral part of the decision making and administration. The ultimate goal is to help them become something part of which they belong and can contribute. As their confidence increases they can once again return to work, school or set new goals for themselves. Thunderbird clubhouse board, inc. Is accredited by clubhouse international, formerly known as the international center for clubhouse development (www. Iccd. Org) and is part of the world-wide community of clubhouses.
