thunderbird provides housing in many forms to adults recovering from mental illness. Thunderbird clubhouse owns three properties and administers several vouchers and housing subsidies. Funding is received from the norman housing authority, city of norman, mostly as grants through hud, to support housing programs. Most housing is permanent housing and one property is designated for emergency shelter. This unit is specifically for clubhouse members who are leaving the hospital or are homeless. They provide supportive services to help individuals regain their independence.
