Mission: The workmen's circle builds modern community by providing meaningful jewish experiences for adults, children, seniors, families and individuals of every age and stage of life through education programs, social justice activism, and cultural celebrations. These offerings, which build jewish identity and foster jewish continuity, include a network of complementary schools and adult education courses, holiday celebrations and cultural events, and camp kinder ring.
Programs: Education: wc/ar offers engaging jewish cultural learning experiences in our complementary schools, through adult education programs, at camp kinder ring summer camp and circle lodge retreat center. Our learning programs cover a wide range of topics, including social and economic justice, yiddish language, literature, arts, and history which appeal to both new and legacy senior members.
community programs and cultural events: wc/ar provides cultural and social action programs focused on jewish culture and social justice for all ages. See schedule o for detail of specific programs run by workmen's circle.
member services: as a benefit to our community, wc/ar provides access to a range of insurance products including medicare supplement, catastrophic major medical, dental insurance, medical referrals and discounted legal services, particularly for our senior members.
