Mission: Wso strives to provide high-quality, symphonic music to the local community.
Programs: Wilmington symphony orchestra performed a series of concerts for the local community, providing performance opportunities for area musicians and providing the region the cultural benefits of a symphony. Wso's orchestra members are drawn from the local community, although some specialty players are attracted from a wider region. In addition, wso hosts a youth orchestra which provides school-age performers with concert-performance opportunities.
