The staff and volunteers at Poinciana Hope took their time to educate me on the benifs of living a eco- friendly live style.They also showed me small ways that myself and family could and be more eco-friendly. The tips helped me save money on my electric bill and be a more responsible of the footprint I leave on the Earth.

Not only did they have a passion about being more eco friendly to the environment, but the practical uses of planting your own garden and saving on water and electricity make you healthier and save money!

Initially, I thought the project would be just planting a couple of trees. However, it was far from the case! Before we planted the trees, me along with the other volunteers got a real education in sustainability and how potentially easy it could be!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation. Planting the trees really helped us get to know one another too!!!

Poinciana Hope is a great organization that I was happy to volunteer for. Not only was the work we did meaningful and engaging, but I also learned a lot (and I mean A LOT) about sustainable energies and environmental awareness. I am more than happy to put my support behind this organization and I am more than willing to volunteer with Poinciana Hope in the future!!

Poinciana Hope is a first-class organization. The mission of this organization is admirable and I look forward helping out any way that I can.

I reached out to Poinciana Hope with the idea that I'd be able to do something good for the environment for a day or two and feel good about myself. Instead, I've found a community through which I have come to learn about, practice, and teach others about sustainability. Currently, the organization is working on a house-by-house basis to spread awareness about sustainable living and inspiring others to live in ways that not only help our planet, but ourselves and the many future generations of our planet's inhabitants. I had a great time working with the leaders and fellow volunteers of Poinciana Hope Foundation. They made sure that we had a good time and that we all learned something new. The presentation before the actual tree planting (for their "Plant a Tree of Peace" Program) was excellent and had us all interacting and excited about the future of sustainable technology/lifestyles. I honestly can't wait to volunteer with them again!

At the tree planting that I attended, Hendy and Drew explained the urgency of their goal of planting trees and other plants in places and ways that make a significant impact not only on our environment but on the way we live daily in our communities. It is a very worthy cause and the information that they provide is easy to understand and it makes me want to adopt practices that make me a better environmentally conscious citizen.
