Programs: During 2016 preparation for a new approach to the overnight website challenge was done including analyzing and revising its programming and processes, hiring its first staff member, gathering feedback from constituents, and creating a sustainability plan for 2017 and beyond. In addition, the nerdery foundation worked on strategic planning by gathering insight from previous volunteers, and holding a conference session at a local technology conference; program development by updating the programming model; fundraising by exploring options for partnership and sponsorship; marketing; and administration. Three overnight website challenge events were then held in early 2017 which served 34 nonprofit organizations. During 2016 technology professionals donated approximately $7,500 in pro bono services related to developing and maintaining the owc website.
