Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Arts & Culture, Christianity, Religion, Singing & Choral Groups
Mission: The National Christian Choir is called to glorify God through a unique ministry of music which draws people into a new and deeper relationship with Him.
Results: We have produced 25 CDs of the 150-voice choir with full orchestra. We have a weekly inspirational radio program heard on over 500 Christian radio stations throughout North America and beyond. We have toured in regions of the USA, Eastern Europe, and the Holy Land. We have seen countless persons recommit their lives to Jesus Christ and many come to know Him for the first time.
Target demographics: Those who love to worship the Lord through traditional, inspirational Christian choral music. While all ages love our ministry, our largest demographic are older adults.
Direct beneficiaries per year: We hear from many prisoners and shut-ins who greatly appreciate our ministry. Many tell us that there is no one else doing what we do since music styles on Christian radio and in many churches have moved into a more contemporary vein.
Geographic areas served: Concerts all around Washington, DC; Baltimore, MD; Southern Pennsylvania. Annual tours have taken us to California, Washington, Alaska, Colorado, Illinois, North Carolina, Indiana, and Florida. Our radio ministry reaches all 50 states, all of Canada, and beyond.
Programs: MOM (Music for Our Military) Magi Fund - We help raise funds via a Christmas concert for the homeless and hungry of Delmarva (the eastern shores of Delaware, Virginia, and Maryland) 10-12 local concerts. One long weekend tour annually somewhere in the USA.
