Mission: Our Mission is to use Policy, Advocacy and the Trust Fund to create and hold long term security/ stability for the Orphan/Vulnerable child as a reliable and independent means to guarantee continuity of the education until a time when the Orphan can cater/provide for himself. We also build solid ‘bed-rock’ sustainability schemes to keep our projects maintained and long lasting.
Results: OUR MILESTONE We started back then in 2013 as The Miebaka and Ma'Enow Foundation, a non-profit body that came to bring aid and relief to the elderly, disabled and the Orphans, in 2014, the organization became The Ma'Enow Tabe Fund and in 2015 we became the Ma'Enow Tabe Trust Fund Association (Org.), when we realized there was need to create and hold long term financial security to sustain all our programs for a long time. From when we started, we have designed, funded and sustained a number of projects, as listed below. • MTTFA’S OVC 2013 Scholarship; We have placed 27 Orphans and vulnerable children under sustainable scholarship in schools. Tuition is paid for 13 secondary school children and 14 primary school children all located in the Meme Division of the South West Region, Cameroon. We also provide these children with books and co, clothes, shoes, food items, toys and cash gifts. It is worth noting that, a quarter of these children are born with HIV, this brings our NGO to a totally delicate domain for which our experts need full training, support, volunteers and funding and there is an increase need for more Medical practitioners to become members. • MTTFA’S Grassroots Relief Programs; This out-reach program was designed in 2013 to alleviate poverty and provide small start-up capitals for the disabled, community OVC between 12-18 years who are school drop-outs and also for underprivileged communities. Our volunteer team went to the grassroots levels and provided the MTTFA with the name of 6 Christian churches (ministries) through which we could reach our target groups. It is worth noting here that while we were bringing relief to these communities as mentioned above, we cemented the floors, bought chairs, and provided roofs for their open churches where the Christians were at the mercy of the rain and the sun. The MTTFA sponsored crusades organized by these Ministries in a bid to spread the Word of God and the Love of Christ Jesus. We also brought grassroots relief by donating clothes, shoes, food items and cash gifts. • MTTFA’S Participation at the African-Grant Makers Network Congress, Arusha, Tanzania, July 2015; The MTTFA was represented at the AGN Biennial congress as mentioned above to network with International NGOs, funders, Donors, philanthropic institutions from all over the globe, but also, it was a perfect opportunity for our NGO to be trained on better sustainable schemes, fund raisers, marketing , attracting funding, accountability and also how to become independent in philanthropy. This was a great achievement for the MTTFA because it gave birth to a “new baby” knowledge that would soon be the reason why a community offers the latter 1 hectare (10000m2) as project land. • MTTFA’S Poultry Farms Empowerment Scheme The MTTFA after the AGN in 2015, realized that empowerment of any community is the best means of enabling a solid environment for a sustainable philanthropy and so we started implanting in
