Mission: The delores project was established for the purpose of providing safe, comfortable shelter and personalized services to unaccompainied women and transgender individuals experiencing homelessness. The organization also works to end homelessness by advocating for housing solutions. The model of service is one of respect, hospitality and dignity for each individual.
Programs: The organization provides 50+ beds to unaccompanied women and transgener individuals. The transitional program (steps to stability) provides advocacy and support to guests for securing and maintaining long-term housing. In winter and extreme circumstances, the delores project provides additional overflow shelter. 46,174 individual meals were provided to guests. The delores project sheltered 354 adult unaccompanied guests during the year.
