Mission: Dvlf has been serving the emerging needs of the lgbtq community for almost 20 years. The organization was first created in 1993 to benefit the philadelphia region's lgbtq community by raising money for a permanent endowment. Dvlf fosters positive change every year through advocacy, grantmaking, scholarships, programming and education. This year, dvlf's endowments and funds passed the one million dollar, allowing it to give out even more grants and scholarships to many organizations on the frontlines of work in the lgbtq community. Each year dvlf empowers and enhances the lives of the lgbtq community by investing in the work of our community. Our grants provide critical funds to programs serving the lgbtq community. This year we gave out grants in the area of economic empowerment, and racial equity. We are proud to serve organizations at the front lines meeting the prevailing needs of our community.
