Mission: Beginning in 1993 with a single personal computer recovered from a dumpster, CURE has brought technology into the lives of those at the greatest risk of being left behind in our information age persons with disabilities. Since that time, CURE has provided thousands of hours of computer training to persons with disabilities and distributed hundreds of computers. CURE works closely with organizations providing employment assistance, job training and support to persons with disabilities. By utilizing innovative, low-cost technology, CURE empowers the disabled in the home, on the job and throughout the community, reducing stigma and increasing self-esteem and job marketability.
