Mission: The Center for Economic Justice (CEJ), founded in 2000, grew out of the need to assist those exiting the welfare rolls but are not achieving economic mobility. CEJ is an organization whose mission is to reduce poverty and promote family well-being. The three main goals for TCEJ are to increase job skills among under-skilled workers; t decrease barriers that hinder economic mobility in adults and academic achievement in children; and to provide free substance abuse counseling to those seeking help but cannot afford to pay for it.
