Mission: The arc devoted to providing community-based services to individuals
Programs: Summer school --- provides a structured leisure/recreation program to provide activities during the summer months to individuals with disabilities (school and post-school age). Facilitated the inclusion of individuals with mental disabilities in all aspects ofcommunity life. Promote an increase public awareness of people with disabilities and their needs, issues, and concerns of individuals with mental disabilities and their families. Facilities usage donations were in the amount of $8600.
after school childcare -- state licensed child care facility. Provide community-based after school childcare and activities to individuals with mental disabilities and their families. Facilitate the inclusion of individuals with mental disabilities in all aspects of community life. Promote increased public awareness of people with disabilities and their needs, issues, concerns. Monday - friday, 52/weeks/year excluding major holidays.
rise & shine and sunsetters provides adults with disabilities an opportunity to be successful in a medium in which they are typically excluded from, community recreation activities. In addition, it will carry these adults with disabilities across numerous forms of recreation,allowing them to expand beyond traditional choices, yet shaped by individual preferences.
