Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: To enhance the quality of life for persons with disabilities and their families through services and advocacy that support choice, independence and dignity.
Programs: Adult day training - training is provided to individuals with retardation & developmental disabilities. Basic work skills & attitudes such as job responsibility, safety, and punctuality are taught to these individuals.
independent living - services such as personal care attendants, respite care & skills are provided to individuals with developmental disabilities, so that they may achieve their fullest potential in life.
center based respite - provides individuals with disabilities support and supervision in the absence of his or her parents or guardian. The individual's routine is maintained to the best possible to ensure a comfortable stay, with a "home away from home" atmosphere. This supported care for individuals with disabilities provide their families with a break from the daily routine of caregiving.
