Mission: The American Visionary Art Museum is America’s official national museum, education center and repository for intuitive, self-taught artistry and creative expression of all sorts—as recognized by a unanimous vote of the United States Congress. EDUCATION GOALS 1. Expand the definition of a worthwhile life. 2. Engender respect for and delight in the gifts of others. 3.
