Programs: Senior services; with funding from the district of columbia office on aging (dcoa), three (3) senior services lead agency programs (ssla) in district of columbia wards 1,2 and 4 provide comprehensive support services (case management, nutrition services, delivered meals to homebound seniors, caregiver respite, social-recreation services and health promotions) to 25,000 district of columbia residents who are sixty years old and older.
senior citizen housing; the senior citizen, independent-living housing program is operated through the terrific inn #1 project. The inn provides housing for 14 low income adults. The united states department of housing (hud) financed the purchase of the building and provides tenant rent subsidies. Tenants pay an income-based contribution to their rent.
hiv medical case management; terrific inc. Provides hiv medical case management services to district residents living with hiv/aids. Services ensure quality care and healthy living for persons living with hiv and decreases hiv transmission and infection. Funding is provided through the district of columbia department of health - hiv/aids, hepatitus, std, tuberculosis administration.
