Mission: Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa has a long history in Sonoma County dating back to 1866 when the first hospital was opened. The current site was constructed in 1936 with expansions in 1956 and 1972. We became affiliated with Sutter Health in 1995. In addition to the main hospital, the campus includes a separate inpatient psychiatric unit, a large outpatient primary care clinic, and Occupational Health Center, medical office buildings and health-related services operated by Sonoma County’s Public Health Department.
