Mission: Sunshine Center was founded in 1975 by Betty Snapp and Barbara Fears to provide comprehensive services to developmentally disabled and non-disabled children from birth to 18 years of age and to help their families meet their needs. Today, Sunshine Center offers children with special needs special education; physical, occupational, and speech therapy; day care from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; a food program serving breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack; and transportation to and from school.
