Programs: Dancin in the streets is a music and entertainment festival in the streets of downtown stuart in august every year to promote the downtown and to remind people of the services and benefits that a vibrant historic downtown can provide to the community. Since august is a difficult month in our community financially, the event helps build awareness that historic downtown is open all year.
rockin riverwalk is a 52 week music festival that is offered every sunday in conjunction with the green market. Its purpose is to continue to build on the image of historic downtown stuart as a place to go for its commerce, its water, and its cultural diversity. Rockin riverwalk has helped historic downtown stuart develop a reputation as a community where "something is always happening downtown". Coupled with its green market, thousands of people visit the downtown every sunday, stopping to dine
various promotional events to highlight the unique shopping, cultural and historic nature of downtown stuart, florida. Additionally, the organization spearheaded the expansion of the riverwalk and completion of the outdoor dining initative. Finally, the organization also worked to develope the redesign of seminole street and the promotion of the historic downtown through a number of national awards.
