Mission: We started in 1996 as members of an AOL message board, and then we began to meet in a chat room once per month. We then began our own web page so other stroke survivors could find us via search engines. We then added our own message board and chat room. Next, we added dozens of links to web sites with information about stroke, an on-line bookstore (Amazon.com stroke related books) and began an on-line monthly newsletter. There is a tremendous need for on-line stroke support. Many survivors cannot go to a local support group.
