Mission: To build grassroots power to eliminate structural barriers to social and economic opportunities in low-income and disenfranchised communities.
Programs: Scope continued to move our climate investment and clean energy workforce development model through our leadership in local, regional, state and national coalitions; we began exploring two new potential workforce pathways in the oral health and water sectors; we expanded the depth and reach of our trainings; we established a new grassroots leadership development structure and curriculum; and we deepened the political consciousness of our staff and members. We also secured funding from 7 new foundations and increased our revenue to $2. 2 million.
