NA'AMAT has been a part of my life since before I can remember. My mother and grandmother donated their time, money, and love for the causes NA'AMAT supports and represents. The fulfillment I, myself, have gained by growing my own involvement in this organization is unmatched. I have continued to be inspired by the women all over the world who are putting others first so that we may ALL have a better, brighter future. The dedication by all the volunteers and staff is consistent, whole-hearted, and admirable, to say the least. If you are looking for a cause that supports women, children and families, this organization is for you!
I joined Na’Amat USA 8 years ago and am so glad I did. We support women’s empowerment and work to decrease domestic violence and abuse by raising both awareness and money to support the programs in Israel. I’m proud to say that our essential services in Israel are offered to all citizens, no matter what religion. Our daycare centers allow families to work knowing their children are safe and secure. We have two youth villages that enable students with different learning styles and needs to be successful with their education.

NA'AMAT USA has a mission to improve the lives of women, children and families in the US and Israel. The organization has moved forward following the start of our new Executive Director who has a strategic view that's starting to be implemented. Our professional staff works hand in hand with our leadership to ensure that funds donated reach Israel with minimal administrative spending.
An example of the impact made by our donations - a senior high school student at one of our residential schools said that he felt like a failure because he was not successful in school in his home environment. Now that he's approaching graduation, he feels like a success because he actually will graduate and enter a highly competitive spot in the paratrooper unit of the Israel Defense Force. That's success!
Wonderful organization dedicated to helping women, children and families in Israel.

NA’AMAT plays a pivotal role in helping Israel survive and thrive. We provide life-changing services that impact day-to-day struggles, like daycare, alternative high schools, and domestic shelters, and we participate in creating a vibrant social fabric by advocating for equality and human rights. We are the largest women’s organization in Israel, and we have almost a century of work in Israel under our belt, so there’s no better organization to be involved with to champion the status of women in the family, in the work force, and in society, and to join like-minded men and women across America engaging in Israel-centered identity, activism and fellowship.
I am always proud to share my involvement with NA'AMAT. Fundraising goes directly to where it is most needed in supporting the women and children of Israel. With nearly 200 early childhood centers, two agricultural villages for at risk teens and numerous additional vocational high schools for at risk teens, the organization is essential to the well being of children of Israel.. The work of NA'AMAT does not end there because there are women's shelters, women's health and legal centers and scholarships for women's advanced studies. NA'AMAT has always provided psychological and emotional support for women and their families. Since Oct 7, 2023 these services have more than doubled as nearly everyone is suffering trauma.
I have been a member of NA'AMAT for my whole adult life, and my mother was a national president of the organization. I am very proud to be associated with NA'AMAT's outstanding work on behalf of women, children and families in Israel. I've had the opportunity to see NA'AMAT's work first-hand multiple times, and I am always impressed with the dedication and skill of the staff at our day care centers, youth villages, alternative high schools and other facilities. I am particularly proud of NA'AMAT's prominent role in advocating for the advancement of women in Israeli society, whether in politics, in the workplace or in the home. This is critical work and if you're reading this, I hope you will join us.
I have been a member of NA'AMAT USA for 20+ years. The work that they accomplish is outstanding! They are very transparent about how they distribute the funds that they receive.
NA'AMAT is very dedicated to ensure a better life for women, children and families in Israel. I am a very proud member of this organization. Susan Isaacs
I have been part of NA'AMAT all of my adult life, as my mother before me. Israel is so important to me that I feel I must support it. By nurturing the children, women and families all over this special country, I feel I am doing my part.
I’m pleased to be part of NA’AMAT. We help people change their lives and support childhood centers and schools. We advocate for women's issues and it is wonderful to be part of a caring, effective group. Lynnette Shifman, Camarillo, CAlifornia
NA'AMAT USA is a wonderful charity. They help raise money to support women and children with daycare centers, technical schools, and women's centers. I'm very proud to be a part of this organization. My nephew goes to a NA'AMAT daycare center so my niece and work and help support her family. Fabulous experience.
I am so proud to be part of an organization that accomplishes so much good in Israel. Improving lives is our goal. Having seen many of the Na'Amat projects in Israel makes me feel a part of all of the accomplishments. Having been part of this wonderful organization for the past 15 years has made me so good!
NA'ANAT USA is a volunteer organization focused on helping children, women and famines in need in Israel. As a board member, I find that the programs the organization implement are aligned with it's Mission Statement. NA'AMAT USA fosters a culture of leadership by encouraging board members to participate in professional growth seminars such as Community Works held at Princeton university each year.
We, the board members receive detailed financial reports, transparency is evident in finances and in communications.
I’m so proud to be an active member of NA’AMAT. Our efforts changes lives. From early childhood centers, schools and programs for at risk teens to the important work of advocating for women’s issues, we make a difference.
I love NA'AMAT USA for its mission to help women and children. I have been a member for over thirty years and a volunteer for those years as well. I have held many positions. NA'AMAT works with troubled teens, it helps working moms by taking care of their very young children, it protects women from being domestically abused, it protects and advocates for women in the work place, and it advocates through the democratic legislative process for women's equal rights. Countless women's lives have been changed for the good by the advocacy of NA'AMAT. NA'AMAT influences policy not only in Israel but in the United States and other countries. There are a wide range of "success" stories of children and women who have been helped by NA'AMAT.

Why am I a volunteer for NA’AMAT USA? To be a volunteer is to give back but to be a volunteer is also to get back. I support NA’AMAT because of its mission to help women, children, and teens in Israel. NA’AMAT Israel is in the forefront of women’s rights, specifically working women. It allows women to enter the work force by offering daycare and preschool opportunities. It protects women from harassment, inequality, and abuse in the workplace. It advocates for legislation to protect women and advance their rights. It gives the right to women to serve and work in any profession they choose, i.e. the first woman helicopter pilot in the IDF owes her position to NA’AMAT. Progress made on behalf of women’s rights in Israel advances women’s rights in the US and globally as well. Programs and schools for teens at risk are part of the NA’AMAT framework. Domestic violence is prevented by sheltering victims and educating the abusers. And for all of these accomplishments, my fundraising efforts are performed side by side with like-minded new and old friends. I get back the satisfaction of tikun olam. Repairing the world. Esther
I have been a member of NA'AMAT USA since 1973. I am very proud of the work this organization has done. It's mission is to improve the lives of women and children in Israel. NA'AMAT ISRAEL is the largest social service organization in Israel. It currently operates close to 300 day care centers (These day care centers were the model for the Head Start Program in the US), It also has two youth villages and a number of high schools for teens at risk. It started the first Woman's Shelter in Israel and is now the model for subsequent shelters that have opened. We have a woman's legal division that helps women with workplace discrimination, divorce and other issues. We offer counseling to families. NA'AMAT ISRAEL is a continuing evolving organization to meet the needs of women and children in Israel.

NA'AMAT USA supports the projects of NA'AMAT ISRAEL. One of the projects that I connected with is our two youth villages. These are comparable to a boarding school in the US. These are for teens who are at risk. They have been recommended by a school counselor, the police, therapist, or a doctor. They have to maintain a C or better average in school. They have a farm animal to care for and chores to do. They meet with a counselor weekly or more often. For many of them they just needed to get out of their environment to be able to succeed at school. Both youth villages have had outstanding success.
NA'AMAT USA is an organization that continues to fulfill its mission of empowering women and children by providing educational opportunities and essential social services throughout the State of Israel. I am proud to be a member of this inclusive organization that will shortly celebrate its 100th anniversary.

I am inspired by NA'AMAT every day. Our programs enrich the lives of children in our daycare, teens in our vocational schools and young women through our professional scholarship program. We stand for a woman's right to choose and to live safely without fear of violence. NA'AMAT USA advocates for women and their families. I am proud to be a member.
Since the founding of Pioneer Women (now called NA'AMAT), three generations of women in my family have belonged to this wonderful organization. We enjoy raising money to help women and children in Israel and know that our participation serves such a good cause. I have visited some of our facilities in Israel to see for myself how helpful NA'AMAT has been there. So many Israelis have benefitted from our services. In addition, our group of women here have a good time socializing and attending all sorts of events to raise funds.
NA'AMAT USA is such a wonderful cause. All of their fundraising programs are so engaging and all for a great cause - helping women and children in Israel. Looking forward to the rainbow challah baking program
NA'AMAT USA, formerly Pioneer Women, was founded 100 years ago. It supports a broad range of social & legal services in Israel, including daycare, family counseling, legal aid, family violence prevention & treatment, alternative schools & residential facilities for teens. Scholarships are provided for women's university studies. Over 300,000 individuals are helped in Israel by more than 3000 staff. The majority of the employees are women. NA'AMAT advocates actively to improve the status of women in Israel & the US.
I have belonged to NA'AMAT USA for a long time and have visited many of the facilities in Israel. They operate at a high level of professionalism with staff that care deeply about the people they help. NA'AMAT in Israel is well known & is very well thought of.
The organization in the USA operates mainly with volunteers and has minimal expenses so that I can feel confident that my contributions are used to the maximum to provide social services needed.
I love being part of an international Jewish women's movement with members in 9 countries. It's wonderful knowing that I can make a difference in the lives of women and children in the United States and in Israel
I have been a member of this organization for 44 years and helped start a “young leaders club” for the Long Island/Queens Council when I first joined. We are a dedicated group of women who love getting together and socializing, while raising money for this worthwhile non-profit group. My draw to NA’AMAT was all the work they do for women and children. I had my own young children, who now have their own children, and I taught Pre-school for many years. NA’AMAT’s daycare centers have a special place in my heart. I have made life-long friends through joining this group.
I had the opportunity to visit the Kanot Youth Village in 2019, one of NA’AMAT’s residential technical high schools. Children who may not learn well in a traditional school have the opportunity to blossom in this environment. The kids comment that the school has changed their lives. I had the opportunity to see first hand the nurturing that takes place in the day care centers which extends to the families as well as the small children. I am so proud of the great work we do to empower the lives of women and children in Israel.
You feel you make a difference from the minute you join. The national professional staff and lay leadership are both easy to work with and to get to know.
As a national board member of NA’AMAT USA, I am so proud of all the great work that we accomplished this past year. During Covid, we kept the entire national organization connected by many zoom events that included virtual tours, palate classes, cooking demonstrations and so much more! The organization did a tremendous job keeping its members engaged and informed!
I was able to go to Israel and see first hand what their money does in Israel
This organization changes lives no matter what religion or race.
This organization fights for women's issues. They fought for and won the right for stewardesses to wear flats on flights on EL AL. This was a sexist and unsafe policy. They fought for women to be part of the airforce in Israel and won that battle as well. They provide caring daycare so moms can feel confident going to work. They provide scholarships for women in college and beyond especialyl for PhD's in STEM and gender studies. They have recently expanded one of their residential high schools to 7th grade and up providing a pipeline for success for these students and parental support.

I have belonged to this organization for 40 years. All donations go where designated and the organization is run professionally. Despite the current situation, our volunteer leaders are doing a yeoman's job of providing exciting programming, reaching out to both donors and members. We have zoom meetings that educate and enlighten. We even get to see and hear about projects that we support like the Glickman Center (also known as the House of NA'AMAT), the schools we support in Israel and updates on how Covid 19 is affecting these installations and projects.

Your volunteer work has helped our organization grow and flourish over the years. You, along with NA'AMAT have created better lives for women and children in need, in Israel.
When I visited one of NA'AMAT ISRAEL's Day Care Centers in Tel Aviv, I was so impressed with it's cleanliness. It was all painted in primary colors so it was very bright and colorful. There were colorful posters on the walls. There were so many toys and blocks for the children to play with. Every classroom had a playground for the children to play in also completely filled with age appropriate toys. The teachers were all very warm and caring.
I would be very pleased if one of my grandchildren could go there
Women and children suffering from the bombardments of rockets overhead...High school students from distressed family situations at home needing a place to encourage them to succeed in life... Standing up for women's rights and equality in the work place. Enriching the lives of battered women and educating fathers on how to be positive forces in their families...quality day care centers to educate the youngest members of our society...all of these represent the work of NA'AMAT USA. Our non-profit organization provides university scholarships to outstanding graduates in science, law and engineering. All this while providing our members with creative activities to encourage their work in making a difference in the daily lives of others. NA'AMAT USA is recognized as an organization that encourages its members to "Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement" (Golda Meir, National Secretary of NA'AMAT, 1932 - 1935). NA'AMAT makes an IMPACT! NA'AMAT empowers it members to get involved and make a difference! I am proud to be a member of a group that is advancing the status of women in the family, workforce and society!

NA'AMAT USA is an organization that impacts lives daily. Working in partnership with NA'AMAT Israel to provide vital educational and social service programs for families, NA'AMAT enriches lives. Whether NA'AMAT is providing shelter for battered women, defending women's rights, empowering women in the workforce, providing computers to needy students or supporting day care centers, NA'AMAT is enriching lives. NA'AMAT USA works to bring attention to the enormous problem of sexual harassment here in the United States as well and initiates legislation on behalf of women's rights. This group brings women together to help others and create a better world. This premier group of women helping women provides meaningfulness and purpose to members and to those receiving support. On a personal level, when I joined this organization four years ago, I did not realize that I would meet so many new friends that would become like family all united to create better family lives for all.

Thank you for everything you do to help our organization grow. We are lucky to have you! Women, children and families in Israel have better lives because of you and NA'AMAT.
As a long time member of NA'AMAT USA I find the organization to be dedicated to the fulfillment of its mission of enhancing the quality of life for women, children and families in Israel, providing vital educational and social service programs for the people in Israel and advocating for gender equality, child welfare and women’s rights.
The organization is attuned to the changing need of the population it serves and adapts accordingly. it works in a fiscally responsible way. NA'MAT USA supports its volunteers' needs as well by providing venues for like minded women to engage in meaningful social interactions.
I have been involved with NA'AMAT USA for over 45 years. I began by starting a club of young women who wanted to help the women and children of Israel. The volunteers I have worked with through the years are dedicated and work hard to raise the money NA'AMAT ISRAEL needs to help support the daycare centers, alternative high schools and women's service NA'AMAT ISRAEL provides.
I eventually became president of the Chicago Council of NA'AMAT USA after serving in many other positions. I did this because every time I went to Israel and visited the daycare centers and saw how dedicated the teachers and staff were I knew my hard work was worth while.
In August of 2016, I was honored to be elected National President of NA'AMAT USA. As President, I went to Israel 5 or 6 times and really got to see the work of NA'AMAT iSRAEL. Our youth villages for at risk teens do an amazing job of saving these kids, enabling them to become contributing members of Israeli society. Seeing the abused women and children in our Shelter feeling safe and secure and able to heal was an amazing experience.
All these experiences in Israel, made me realize once again how important the work NA'AMT USA does. Being president is like a half time job without pay of course, but it was worth it. As President, I worked closely with our professional staff and got to know them and see how dedicated they are to NA'AMAT and the women and children of Israel we help.
I have been involved with this organization for many years.
The more I have been involved, the more I find they accomplish.
Next to the government of Israel, Na'amat does the most to service
Women, children and families of all religions and races all over Israel.
Empowering all women is a most important purpose.

Your work with NA'AMAT has helped us grow and flourish. Your ideas and creativity continue to put NA'AMAT on the map worldwide, enhance our visibility and enable us to reach our fundraising goals through promotion.
I have been involved in NA'AMAT my entire adult life. The organization does critically important work in Israel to improve the quality of life for women, children and families. NA'AMAT does whatever is needed to empower women, from operating the best day care centers in Israel, to running agricultural and technological high schools for teenagers who have failed at other schools, to providing legal aid for women.

Thank you for continuing to put your heart and soul into NA'AMAT to help the organization grow. We thank you and women, children and families are better off because of your work with NA'AMAT.

My personal experience is limited to the Chicago area, where I have seen firsthand the dedication and commitment the members bring to carrying out their mission. I have been impressed by the fund-raising done by NA'AMAT USA in support of women and children in Israel.

Thank you for your continued efforts to help carry out the mission of NA'AMAT. The fundraising in Chicago and throughout the country has enhanced the lives of women and children in Israel.
Here in Israel the domestic violence work of Naamat is militant feminist, blatantly misandric and one-sided. I'm an Israeli father disconnected from my daughter by parental alienation, false accusations, gender-biased social services and family law authorities. I'm against violence including domestic violence by women which is overlooked and excused by Naamat-Israel. Na'amat shares the western radical feminst culture of false allegations. I do not know if the Naamat Tel Aviv shelter is inciting children to falsely accuse their fathers. Other shelters in Israel stoop to that for their own profit and points...
Review from CharityNavigator
I have been with Na'Amaat for 65 years. I have been to Israel 4 times. I have raised money to go to our Donor Luncheon every year. I have been Treasurer for 6 years in Buffalo, N.Y., 6 yrs. in Miami Bch., And 10 yrs. in West Palm Bch. I was Calendar Chairperson, 3 yrs. in each place mentioned. I feel I have helped to educate, and helped Children in Israel stay in a home while parents worked.
