As a long time member of NA'AMAT USA I find the organization to be dedicated to the fulfillment of its mission of enhancing the quality of life for women, children and families in Israel, providing vital educational and social service programs for the people in Israel and advocating for gender equality, child welfare and women’s rights.
The organization is attuned to the changing need of the population it serves and adapts accordingly. it works in a fiscally responsible way. NA'MAT USA supports its volunteers' needs as well by providing venues for like minded women to engage in meaningful social interactions.
I have been involved with NA'AMAT USA for over 45 years. I began by starting a club of young women who wanted to help the women and children of Israel. The volunteers I have worked with through the years are dedicated and work hard to raise the money NA'AMAT ISRAEL needs to help support the daycare centers, alternative high schools and women's service NA'AMAT ISRAEL provides.
I eventually became president of the Chicago Council of NA'AMAT USA after serving in many other positions. I did this because every time I went to Israel and visited the daycare centers and saw how dedicated the teachers and staff were I knew my hard work was worth while.
In August of 2016, I was honored to be elected National President of NA'AMAT USA. As President, I went to Israel 5 or 6 times and really got to see the work of NA'AMAT iSRAEL. Our youth villages for at risk teens do an amazing job of saving these kids, enabling them to become contributing members of Israeli society. Seeing the abused women and children in our Shelter feeling safe and secure and able to heal was an amazing experience.
All these experiences in Israel, made me realize once again how important the work NA'AMT USA does. Being president is like a half time job without pay of course, but it was worth it. As President, I worked closely with our professional staff and got to know them and see how dedicated they are to NA'AMAT and the women and children of Israel we help.
I joined this non-profit organization 4 years ago after discovering the important work they do in empowering families and children in Israel. They are the largest NGO in Israel funding over 200 daycare centers, technical high schools, 2 youth villages for adolescents at risk, women's shelters and empowerment centers; legal aid and more.
When I visited Israel last year and saw the incredible work done with the money raised by chapters in the US and 7 countries around the world, I was amazed. In addition, during the COVID-19 pandemic, they continued to support the children and staff by providing remote interactions and food baskets to those in need.
I have been involved with this organization for many years.
The more I have been involved, the more I find they accomplish.
Next to the government of Israel, Na'amat does the most to service
Women, children and families of all religions and races all over Israel.
Empowering all women is a most important purpose.
We continue to fight for women's rights, gender equality and education for all. Thank you for your involvement for all these years. You truly make a difference in the lives of Israelis in need.
I became involved with NA'AMAT USA in 1972. As a teacher and my interests I was very attracted to the projects that NA'AMAT was involved with in Israel. Their focus on women, families, and children touched me. I know that they have always looked to see what was needed at the time. When there was a large immigration from Ethiopia they created a program to assimilate the emigres into Israeli society. Creating schools for teens at risk was also very important to me. Fighting for the rights of women to have equal pay and equal access to jobs were also important. I think the NA'AMAT evolves constantly to meet the changing needs of Israeli society.
Thank you for your years of volunteering for NA'AMAT. We continue to fight for gender equality and to improve the lives of women, children & families in Israel.
NA'AMAT USA is an organization that impacts lives daily. Working in partnership with NA'AMAT Israel to provide vital educational and social service programs for families, NA'AMAT enriches lives. Whether NA'AMAT is providing shelter for battered women, defending women's rights, empowering women in the workforce, providing computers to needy students or supporting day care centers, NA'AMAT is enriching lives. NA'AMAT USA works to bring attention to the enormous problem of sexual harassment here in the United States as well and initiates legislation on behalf of women's rights. This group brings women together to help others and create a better world. This premier group of women helping women provides meaningfulness and purpose to members and to those receiving support. On a personal level, when I joined this organization four years ago, I did not realize that I would meet so many new friends that would become like family all united to create better family lives for all.
Thank you for everything you do to help our organization grow. We are lucky to have you! Women, children and families in Israel have better lives because of you and NA'AMAT.
I am proud to be the third of five generations who have been inspired and committed to the goals of NA'AMAT USA From its founding (1925) to the present, NA'AMAT has sought to empower women, children and their families in Israel through education, vocational training, legal and social services. This is made possible by the combined power and talent of both volunteers and professionals. I am so proud of the work that NA'AMAT USA does because every day it inspires a new generation to think and achieve more than they thought was possible.
Thank you for carrying on the work of generations of women dedicated to fulfilling the mission of NA'AMAT. Decades of fundraising throughout the country have helped to create social change. NA'AMAT continues to improve the lives of women, children and families in Israel.
NA'AMAT USA enriches lives of underprivileged women and children in Israel by supporting day care centers, education for at-risk teens, legal services & much more. Proud to be a part of this worthwhile organization! Susan Isaacs

NA’AMAT USA AND SOCIAL CHANGE
To leave the world a better place - whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or an improved social condition - that is to have succeeded. That only one life breathed easier because you lived - that is success.---Ralph Waldo Emerson
The words above embody why I am involved with NA’AMAT USA. It is to help change lives, women’s and children’s lives. I joined NA’AMAT to give back but NA’AMAT has rewarded me more. The satisfaction of knowing that a woman and her children are safe from an abusive relationship and can go on to live without fear; that a young graduate student is able to finish her stem cell research due to receiving a financial scholarship; that women no longer have to fear sexual harassment in the army; that a woman can go to work without the worry of childcare; that women have legal aid to obtain their religious/civil divorces; that troubled and sometimes homeless teens can study in a nurturing high school and achieve their potential to give back to society; that women in the workplace are free of inequality and sexual harassment; and that a young woman can grow up to achieve her goal of being an army helicopter pilot on equal footing with her male peers.
These are the social changes I help establish while volunteering my time, fundraising, and donating to NA’AMAT USA. “Improved social conditions” in Israel are what are ultimately achieved by NA’AMAT Israel, the recipient of our hard work.
Thank you for your continued work with NA'AMAT. Our goal is to create social change and your volunteerism is helping us achieve this goal. women, children and families in Israel have better lives because of NA'AMAT.
I have belonged to this organization for 40 years. All donations go where designated and the organization is run professionally. Despite the current situation, our volunteer leaders are doing a yeoman's job of providing exciting programming, reaching out to both donors and members. We have zoom meetings that educate and enlighten. We even get to see and hear about projects that we support like the Glickman Center (also known as the House of NA'AMAT), the schools we support in Israel and updates on how Covid 19 is affecting these installations and projects.
Your volunteer work has helped our organization grow and flourish over the years. You, along with NA'AMAT have created better lives for women and children in need, in Israel.
I have been involved in NA'AMAT my entire adult life. The organization does critically important work in Israel to improve the quality of life for women, children and families. NA'AMAT does whatever is needed to empower women, from operating the best day care centers in Israel, to running agricultural and technological high schools for teenagers who have failed at other schools, to providing legal aid for women.
Thank you for continuing to put your heart and soul into NA'AMAT to help the organization grow. We thank you and women, children and families are better off because of your work with NA'AMAT.

My personal experience is limited to the Chicago area, where I have seen firsthand the dedication and commitment the members bring to carrying out their mission. I have been impressed by the fund-raising done by NA'AMAT USA in support of women and children in Israel.
Thank you for your continued efforts to help carry out the mission of NA'AMAT. The fundraising in Chicago and throughout the country has enhanced the lives of women and children in Israel.
Here in Israel the domestic violence work of Naamat is militant feminist, blatantly misandric and one-sided. I'm an Israeli father disconnected from my daughter by parental alienation, false accusations, gender-biased social services and family law authorities. I'm against violence including domestic violence by women which is overlooked and excused by Naamat-Israel. Na'amat shares the western radical feminst culture of false allegations. I do not know if the Naamat Tel Aviv shelter is inciting children to falsely accuse their fathers. Other shelters in Israel stoop to that for their own profit and points...

I have been Treasurer for 6 years in Buffalo, N.Y., 6 yrs. in Miami Bch., And 10 yrs. in West Palm Bch. I was Calendar Chairperson, 3 yrs. in each place mentioned.
