Mission: Sahf's mission is to lead policy innovation and advance excellence in delivery of affordable rental homes that expand opportunity and promote dignity for residents.
Programs: To promote the development and preservation of quality affordable housing, to enable residents of that housing to use it as a platform to improve their lives, to educate the public, and to promote the role of nonprofit entities in the development and preservation of affordable housing in the united states. In aid of its mission, sahf is working to assist its members and other nonprofits to reduce or control utility costs in that housing, implementing strategies to finance and execute energy conservation retrofits, and educating member staff and residents.
