the operation of the oloile secondary school in kimana, kenya continues as a focus of our education initiatives. While continuing to sponsor a small number of students in other areas, the oloile school serves about 200 students with an emphasis on providing access for girls. In the underserved communities where these students come from, most would not otherwise have a chance to attend school beyond middle or primary school.
one of our health initiatives is to continue operating a rural medical clinic. The clinic is located in the town of karero. It provides primary health care access to a remote community with no other medical services. In particular this year the clinic hosted several visiting medical teams to address spikes in malaria, and special services to mothers and infants.
