Mission: The Urban Center At St. Barnabas was founded in 1979 by the Episcopal Diocese to meet the pressing human needs of the area through the provision of food, educational programs, shelter and medical care to the indigent, low income households and the homeless, and to empower the residents of the community with critical skills to elevate and enrich their lives.
