Mission: Southeastern Massachusetts Community Concert Band (SMCCB) welcomes musicians of all ages and abilities. It is incorporated in the state of Massachusetts as Southeastern Massachusetts Community Wind Symphony, Inc. The band currently has about 50 members from throughout eastern Massachusetts and parts of Rhode Island. Founded in 1976, SMCCB is a nonprofit organization and a member of The Association of Concert Bands. Rehearsals are on Monday Nights from 7:30 to 9:30 at the Community Church on Main Street in Medway. New members are always welcome. There are no auditions; the only requirements are an instrument and a love of music.

Instrumental music is an ultimate team sport. Every member plays 'on the field' together and each is critical to a performance success.

Our goal is to provide the opportunity for amateur wind ensemble participation and to deliver professional caliber performances.

We are one of the only "true" community bands in the Boston Metro-West region. The few other amateur organizations that exist in our operating area restrict membership by audition and section size limits.
