Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: To enhance the quality of life by empowering deaf, deaf-blind, and hard of hearing individuals and their families. This is accomplished through the provision of appropriate services, opportunities, and programs. We strive to promote greater understanding and acceptance of hearing loss and deaf culture through education and sensitivity training.
Programs: In the past fiscal year, the organization served 31 clients, continued the tri cities union gospel mission shopping days, partnered with the 3rad deaf club to host captioned movie nights, teamed with the tri-cities outlaws for the 1st annual stick & clubs golf tournament fundraiser, received grants to bring public restroom to ada code, and have maintained the same staff for another full fiscal year.
