Causes: Children & Youth
Mission: To support, develop and expand children's advocacy centers in south carolina
Programs: Directly funded al nca accredited cac's and provided necessary infrastructure to support organizational capacity and direct services for cac's. During 2017 scncac additional trainings were developed and added to our cac/mdt professional training offerings to include board member training for all non- profit cac boards and bulding resiliency training for cac staff and mdt professionals.
during 2017 expanded and improved victim advocacy training and the forensic interview peer review program.
during 2017 the child and family traumatic stress invervention(cftsi) training phase 2 was begun through a partnership with the national childrens alliance and the duke endowment.
