PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BY AN ACTUAL CLIENT - ALL REVIEWS ARE BY BOARD MEMBERS OR OTHERS WHO WORK FOR THEM IN SOME CAPACITY - My experience was TERRIBLE. Almost everyone that was in MIRCI at the time that I was living in one of their apartments was evicted. Some were for legitimate reasons - drugs and drug dealing, letting others live there, etc., while others, including myself, were "evicted" for minor - very minor - issues, or issues that should have been protected by the ADA. There is an issue with them telling you that you cannot take them to court or fight them when they tell you to go, but they say that some have and have won. There seems to be some unprofessional, unethical, and other inappropriate policies in place that may not go along with grant requirements. It should be investigated. Many "MIRCI Refugees" (as we call each other) are back on the streets, in Transitions, etc. They are not dependable.

I am continually amazed at the work PAALS does. They take puppies and make possibilities for those with disabilities. I have been fostering with PAALS for almost 8 years and have seen pups I fostered graduate and recently helped with a recertification of a pup that I fostered who has been placed for a few years. My heart was so happy seeing them working together as a team.

Could not adopt a dog because I refused to give them a copy of my drivers license. Be glad to show it to them as well as my military ID. but no copies.The bank checks my license for ID but does not keep a copy. <br>The information can be used to get a duplicate license that could be used for identiity theft.

My experience with the F12 program was incredibly beneficial for both my college education and IT career. The scholarship was provided promptly, helping to cover some of my college expenses. In addition to the scholarship, I received a voucher for the CompTIA ITF+ certification and was paired with a mentor in the IT field.<br><br>The CompTIA ITF+ certification served as an excellent foundational credential, which helped me secure a job as a part-time helpdesk support. The mentorship also allowed me to build a relationship with someone in a position I aspire to reach while learning various aspects of IT from an experienced professional.<br><br>Overall, the F12 program was an amazing opportunity, providing substantial support for my future in tech. I would highly recommend it to students who are interested in pursuing a career in technology and looking for assistance in starting their journey.

I can't say thank you enough to this mighty rescue. A neighbor abandoned 10 cats when they were evicted and I was able to catch them all. Young kittens to adults. I reached out to Feline Victory Rescue and they agreed to take all of them! It took a couple of trips but the cats were safe. They were all vetted with spay/neuters, shots, worming, flea treatment and medicine for the various icky eyes and sneezing. They also took two cats my son was fostering when he was unable to find them homes. They found every one of them loving homes. I get updates and pictures regularly. They support the entire Eastern Seaboard helping unwanted, abandoned, sick, injured cats. They provide medical treatment, safe housing and loving homes. For those cats a little on the wild side they find long term fosters and for those ailing or with terminal illnesses they have hospice fosters that provide the cats with love and good care in their final months. This rescue is worth supporting and their efforts make a difference to the cats that come across their path.

<br> <br>CSF is an outstanding organization filled with people who work tirelessly to advocate for all patients with Sanfilippo. They do whatever it takes to help children and families struggling with the day-to-day challenges of the disease as well as push forward new and innovative research for treatment options and a cure.  <br> <br>

I have been a volunteer with Because of Roscoe since it was formed in 2023. Being involved with this organization has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. The dedication and tireless effort put forth by the founder and entire team to help the community is inspiring! <br><br>I'd like to share a bit about of "SNIP" (Spay and Neuter Initiative Program). This is a program dedicated to community of Fairfield County, SC providing vouchers valued at $100, accepted any many veterinary clinics in the area as well as a FREE spay and neuter monthly Van Program. Community members can sign up their pets for this once monthly transport to a clinic in Columbia where their cats and dogs can get spay or neutered at no cost! Through the van program, community pet owners are also able to obtain low-cost vaccines. Recently free microchips are being sponsored as well! <br><br>Because of Roscoe is getting ready to launch a TNR Program (Trap Neuter Return) to begin addressing the feral cat population in the community and effectively reduce the number of strays. <br><br>This organization is a blessing to so many in this rural area of South Carolina that is overwhelmed with an overpopulation of animals. Funding for this program is 100% from donations and fundraising efforts. If you are an animal lover and looking to donate, this is an excellent non-profit to support! Every little bit helps.

Super easy when it came to donating food here. When I called them to find there open hours, they answered near immediately and we're very patient. I will be donating to them again, and very soon.

The people at Midlands orphan relief are doing a great thing in the Midlands! They have a wonderful warehouse where you can volunteer and put bags of clothes together for orphans. They are setting up “just in case” closets in schools around the area and they really care about Children ❤️

I have fostered several puppies with Wescott Acres Pet Rescue and they are my favorite nonprofit rescue in the Columbia area. They provide me with all the supplies I need and keep contact during the entire process. Laura is the best! Highly recommend this rescue.

They do great work helping to control the feral cat population in West Columbia. I help to feed the ferals around my neighborhood, and Safe Cats has come several times to trap, neuter and release new feral cats who show up, unneutered and causing problems in the cat community. It's a wonderful organization helping to stop the increase in the stray cat population and to make West Columbia a no-kill area for stray cats.

Absolutely the pits! No management structure, there is no moral support only rudeness. Not to mention unhealthy conditions for everyone making everyone poisoned potentially due to their guilty knowledge of toxic mold in all apartments and allows them to be occupied. Mine for example is inhabitable

Update: we are in week 7 and still no refund. Pets Inc sent me an email saying they wont communicate in writing (attached) now if you were right and justified wouldnt you want everything in writing? This company blantantly tried to steal what was at 1st their accounting mistake. Then they posted my dogs records from another vet and used those partial records to diagnose Loki and blame me for his death....at this point im sueing for breach of confidentiality, defamement, pain and suffering (cant grieve fully dealing with this daily and being accused) and theft. Attorney already looked at case and whistled and said PetsInc must want new owners. Will keep UTD. <br> <br>PetsInc overcharged me for medicine they gave my dog on March 7, 2022. They overcharged by $72. I repeatedly asked for that money refunded and they kept saying no, they only give credit. I didnt agree to overpay for anything so you have no right to keep my money. They also misdiagnosed Loki. They said gastroenteritis, even though i asked repeatedly about his kidneys. I dont blame Loki's death on march 18, after spending a week in ICU in end stage renal failure on them. I blame the dr not knowing symptoms of kidney failure and they overcharge they havent refunded on them. My dog was 3, healthy. He ate grass with roundup over spray from my neighbor and it poisoned him. What do i need a credit to a pet store/vet when my dog is dead? Why should i relive Loki's death trying to get my refund for your overcharge? Finally, i contacted the BBB. Feel free to read it, i dont blame his death on them, i told the story and that i wanted my refund to put towards my $2700 ER vet bill. They responded by posting Loki's records, blaming me for his death, and acting like theyve been giving me my refund, its instant on a card. You took it instantly. Who goes to an ER vet, gets records posts them on the BBB, threatens to post them on social media, and blames the owner? Over a mistake they made and refused to do right on. They also over medicated Loki on cerenia. He shouldve only had 16mg a day at 41.6 lbs, they gave 32mg but blame me. Ive attached emails from the practice manager, Andy, who is actually great about overcharge, the script for cerenia. I also worked at petsinc, i know EVERYTHING is about money...you got 10 spays on tuesday, Renee, CEO/president whatever wants 20, she wants 4 appts at every open slot for 1 vet, which is why the wait is long. I quit bc it was insane and all about money to renee. Andy cares, that i can say. His hearts in it. Dr Robby too. Its a business to make money, understandable but to refuse my refund and then post the records of my dogs suffering to try and take the overcharge not the topic....i will post on every review repeatedly until i get a public apology from somrone...the person who posted that was either Reid, Renee, or possibly Ron, although i cant see Ron posting records from another vet, euthansia and ICU records...how callous. Feel free to read BBB complaint, nowhere did i blame them or anything. They did this over a $72 mistake they overcharged and refused to reimburse. 1 check, 1 email and no BBB complaint or review. Their answer wasnt im sorry about this overcharge, we will fix it asap, no it was a deflect and blame for my dogs death....funny the 5 different ER vets blamed it on toxicity from renal failure from poison, that we didnt know was on our grass in our fenced in yard. I lost my 3 year old baby. Pics of Loki on 3/6 and Loki on 3/11. I spent $2700 to save him. Ive cried every day, my kids have cried. He was a gentle, loving, silly, silly dog and the pain of losing him is horrible. We have his ashes with pictures on urn. Thats not enough for Pets Inc...but because i need that $72 thats mine to help pay the $2700 and ive been asking for 6 weeks, they feel its ok to do what they did. I could never cut a familys heart, post death records, blame them to try and justify keeping my money. I have the actual papers that say each day how Loki is doing, that he was there for renal failure from Round up, i just hope my elderly neighbor who accidentally sprayed the round up never reads those records. Awful, awful customer service, chose to attack and hurt instead of doing the right thing...seems more money driven than a love for animals. I will never deal with them again, and will tell everyone, until i get a public apology, my family will post reviews with the comments other vets have said about how bad PetsInc is. So yea he hurt my kids with your lies and putting his record of death up, im taking business from you.

Wateree did do a lot what I believed good for my house and I am thankful for what stands as good. Since they finished, a season later I noticed mold growth on crown molding to ceiling . All the years here I never had mold growth from humidity . The ventilation they claim met government standards and all the sealing I thought would have impacted humidity in the house. They believe they have done all that they could. Since I was left alone to determine cause of this sudden mold , I learned from ac heating service that the unit that was installed through this weatherizing by wateree praise God for , it is not the correct heating strips for this house size. It is 5kw and need be 8-10 for this house. I am mostly disappointed in the lack of follow through by wateree to back their weatherization. Instead of my thermostat being on 68 and that being too warm at night with old unit it now is drafty and needing to be on 70-72 my hoise no longer efficient in energy cost . My kitchen is brand new walls and crown molding that were installed and now I am needing to remove crown molding , reinstall and repaint . I have calls into other contractors to help determine what steps I can do to return my house to balance after wateree weatherization led house to be otherwise As great as the work done it has not shown to improve efficiency and cost for me.

BFInc is the poster-child of selflessness. Since I've had the opportunity to work with them, it's always been about others and never themselves. Rain, sleet or brick cold they are in the parks on Wednesday serving! Did Covid-19 slow their reach, nope! Now, they're offering their community spaghetti dinners, which we all know can feed the multitudes lol BFInc is a non-profit centered around community and connection! I'm glad the world has their light.

Elite soccer company has helped many young people from less advantaged homes and areas in Mombasa. By supporting their dreams and giving them hope for a future that they could only imagine through sports, this organization has helped young people grow with hope. This organization's personal investment with regard to helping the community outgrow various issues such as poverty and drug use by encouraging the young into sport activities has given the youth a chance at a good life in the society.

I have been volunteering with Sunset Felines for 10 years and I love the work we do to help feral and homeless cats in our community. We specialize in TNR and some adoptions.

Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands took over $1200.00 from my account 14 months after my children went there. I am on a fixed income and was approved when my 2 daughters went in for the lowest rate. They took pictures of my tiny paystubs and bills and faxed over the forms. Then I lost my job due to my one daughter having a seizure my daughter that has NEVER been in boys and girls club that receives ssi monthly and is what we rely on. I took my kids out of the program and months later receive a bill thru email of 600.00 I immediately replied to Shantel Wingate that I was not working then or now and this was incorrect and needed fixed. All of a sudden MONTHS later on August 1st. While my daughters are I were in New Jersey I went to the atm to withdraw money from my Daughter "THE ONE WHO HAS NEVER BEEN TO BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB "BEGREAT"! HER SOCIAL SECURITY ACCOUNT AND LOW AND BEHOLD IT SAYS IM OUT OF FUNDS. WHAT!!!! BECAUSE THEY TOOK A $959.00 PAYMENT AND ANOTHER $300.00 PAYMENT OUT OF HER SSI CARD. Of course this was about 6pm We were leaving the next day! How was I going to get my kids home to SC from Jersey because they took our lifeline. An account that NEVER should have been debited under any circumstance. Now we can't pay our rent or lights or monthly bills because these heartless people didn't do there JOB right the first time. Knowing I was low income and sent in all the paper work. Why did she take pics of my Pay stubs every two weeks with her phone and sent it over! I feel defeated by this company. I have called and emailed and NO help. I had to have my card cut off and now I don't know how were going to make it. This is wrong. !!!!!

This organization has been on the forefront of improving and impacting the lives of individuals and their families living with issues concerning disabilities in the state of South Carolina.

This organization is top notch and can be trusted to put donations to good use with low overhead. I have been sponsoring since 2011 and I so appreciate all they do for those in need.
