Small Angels Rescue, Inc., is a Frederick County, MD based 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, and rats. Small Angels was established in the fall of 2003 and since then has successfully rescued over 4,000 small animals. While we do not have a physical shelter, we use a network of foster homes instead to care for the animals until they find a forever home.

Programs: We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice and rats. . These animals are worthy of respectful and compassionate treatment. We advocate and facilitate responsible animal care and companionship. We have rescued over 2,000 small animals. We provide hospice care to animals that are in bad health and are not able to be adopted.
