Mission: The simi valley community foundation acts as a conduit for community members who have a need to establish donor advised funds. The foundation has also been pursuing the long term goal of building and operating an "under one roof" facility.
Programs: Under one roof - the simi valley community foundation made progress in its effort to build an "under one roof" facility. A budget was developed andpresented to the city of simi valley for the purpose of supporting the city's intention of renting a facility to the foundation. The city and the foundation have entered into an agreement to rent a facility. The foundation has commenced renovation of the building to house the offices of a number of local social service charities including the major tenant, the free clinic of simi valley.
