Mission: The Shakespeare Project was formed in 1993 to bring theater to people in all five boroughs, especially people who might not otherwise have the chance to experience the joys of live performance ? children and teenagers, young families, and seniors in low- and middle-income communities. In our first decade, we produced 13 free productions for more than 30,000 people in parks citywide.
