Mission: To facilitate healing for victims of sexual assault and their families through on-going crisis intervention services;
Programs: The sexual assault center provided the following services for residents of chattooga, floyd, gordon, and polk counties: 24-hour crisis hotline, 24-hour hospital accompaniment, legal advocacy and court accompaniment, referrals to counseling, support group for suriviors of sexual assault, prevention education programs, sexual assault response training for agencies, sexual assault nurse examiner program, volunteer program, and service in spanish. All services are provded free of charge. 2014: 428 clients served, 104 programs conducted, 247 crisis calls, 150 information and referrals, 279 in house counseling, 24 support group meetings, and 149 forensic exams
