Seattle Select Baseball Club

Programs: Seattle select baseball was formed to provide opportunities and exposure while competing at the highest levels of youth baseball while instilling discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty, and integrity. In the 2016- 2017 season seattle select baseball fielded 10 teams with over 140 players, and provided scholarships to 10 players with proven financial need. These players participated in regional and national tournaments winning several regional and national titles. The seattle select baseball club is starting to see the hard work of the coaches, players, parents and the board pay off in the efforts to develop baseball players that can compete at the college and mlb levels. The club graduated 4 players that went on to play division 1 ncaa baseball and one player was drafted by a mlb team. As a final example of the program's focus on college was that every graduating senior was offered multiple opportunities to play college baseball. 95+% of the graduating players went on to college. Seattle select baseball also provides a safe facility for players to train outside of their scheduled team practices. The seattle select baseball club expanded their community outreach by offering free baseball training camps over the winter season to players outside of the club. They had over 50 players of all ages participate. The club had several college and mlb alumni speak to the players about the training and dedication it takes to play baseball at the highest levels.
