Mission: As a federally qualified health center in west philadelphia, our mission is to provide high-quality, culturally sensitive, accessible school-based primary and preventative healthcare services to the underserved west philadelphia community surrounding the william l. Sayre high school; and offer health services education for high school students, undergraduate, graduate and professional students
Programs: Sayre health center promotes social welfare and delivery of health services to low-income individuals of the west philadelphia area of pennsylvania. The organization also provides accessible and culturally sensitive high-quality community based primary and preventive health care services to the underserved west philadelphia community, and offers health services education for high school students and undergraduate, graduate, and professional students from universities and colleges in the philadelphia area. Sayre health center is committed to providing access to quality and affordable health care to all members of the community regardless of their ability to pay. During fiscal year 2017, sayre recieved $1,045,030 in grants from the department of health and human services, and generated net patient service revenue of $978,995. In fiscal year 2018, sayre plans to expand their current lease space by 5,964 sqaure feet which will allow for additional provider care and administrative capabilities.
