Mission: Saq'Be' (pronounced sock bay): Organization for Mayan and Indigenous Spiritual Studies is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed at the request of Ajq'ij (Mayan Priest) in Guatemala. Saq'Be' is operated in the United States by young adults and guided by the vision of Indigenous spiritual leaders. Saq'Be' is committed to providing an opportunity for Indigenous peoples and communities from across the planet to bring awareness of their current struggles for cultural survival, preserve and maintain their spiritual traditions and sacred lands, and share their traditional ways with the world. Saq'Be' works to actively involve young adults in this process. It is the message of the elders that now is the time to unite in solidarity so that balance and harmony may be restored upon mother earth. The preservation and sharing of ancient native wisdom is essential to this process.
