Mission: San diego regional economic development foundation pursues grant funding from corporations, foundations and individuals to support its programs and initiatives. The foundation's programs focus on improving the economic viability of the san diego region through workforce and education programs that support a highly skilled workforce and research that provides the region with opportunities for economic growth.
Programs: The san diego regional economic development foundation (sdredf) focuses on a talent and attraction campaign to retain highly-skilled workers to be employed by local san diego companies. The foundation also focused on small business support and development and administers a small business export grant program to fund companies to expand their business and export their local products in foreign markets. The foundation continues to focus on supporting k-12 students to be trained in emerging stem fields to better prepare them for college and/or careers.
