Mission: Family is the main focus of the nice guys. The majority of the money we raise goes to help families who have somehow fallen through the cracks. A medical bill, a car repair, clothes needed after a house fire, a wheelchair. We offer a hand-up not a hand-out.
Programs: The nice guys victory fund provides assistance to wounded military personnel and their families who have special needs not provided by the military services. A few of those needs are backpacks containing clothing, personal items, games, etc for wounded service men and women in military hospitals, modification of homes to handle wheelchairs and special needs, modification of cars or vans, providing families with transportation, housing and food while they are in san diego supporting their loved ones in the hospitals or rehab centers, and all those special needs in between. Operation care giver provides kits (15 items of basic hygiene and comfort) to us troops "far from the flagpole" (fob's, fop's cop's, mobile humvee bases, etc. ) kits are mailed to command level sargeants who distribute the supplies to the troops who need them most. During 2014 the nice guys victory fund provided funding for cottages built on usmc camp pendlelton to be used by wounded marines and thier families during recovery and rehabilitation.
grants and donations were made to individuals in need and charitable organizations benefiting san diego residents in need.
