Mission: Support rowing in san diego and usa
Programs: Efforts to increase gifts to the endowment through a fundraising campaign continued and resulted in important gifts despite the depressed economy although other gifts were curtailed. There was continued success with the stewards program which provides cash donations from individuals who also assist in staging the annual san diego crew classic which has become well known over four decades as the premier non-championship sprints regatta in the western hemisphere. These funds provide short-term operational financing to the san diego crew classic which has allowed it to expand into the formidable entity that it is today.
