Programs: The museum documented 16,475 visitors in 2016, including 11,601 adults and 5,144 children. In 2016, the society instructed over 8,799 children and young adults in fire safety and prevention including "stop, drop and roll", and proper use of the 911 emergency number. Additionally, in conjunction with the san antonio fire department training division, the museum is now providing fire protection history classes for new firefighter recruits and the department's "citizens fire academy".
