Mission: Salem arms is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working in spokane, washington to provide permanent housing for persons who have been diagnosed as chronically mentally ill, are homeless, and are in some type of treatment program. Tenants must have basic skills for independent living, have symptoms under control, actively using local mental health services, free from drug and alcohol abuse for 6 months, have income not above 30% of median, and meet hud homeless criteria. Salem arms is committed to assist those individuals to live to their fullest level of independence within the community.
Programs: Provision of rental apartment units for chronically, mentally ill and handicapped individuals.
