This organization is corrupt. They ran my apartment complex. The manager commits crimes against his tenants which include unlawful entry, stalking, spying, and harassment. He threatened me and my emotional support cat, June Bug. He is still tracking me through my phone. The police don't care because he is friends with them. He refused to return any part of my deposit and could not be bothered to send a letter explaining the legal reason he had to keep it. He lied about me smoking in my apartment to a judge to illegally evict me.

CEO and HR are my family’s attempted murderers for their religion.

the mission states they are devoted to ending homelessness by uplifting people and meeting essential needs. I guess leaving them in an apartment for 3 months after they knew there was mold in it and the doctor's statement that he needed to get out of that environment because he was suffering from side effects of the mold means they were uplifting him.<br><br>one of many of his case managers left him high and dry when she was supposed to take him to an important drs appointment and never called him or made arrangements with someone else. I want and need you the people who only want to see the good in VOA to understand they are not living up to their mission statement. I can back what I'm saying with proof. I have so much more to tell this story for I am speaking for him and many more veterans and clients of volunteers of America. More to come soon<br><br>

This nonprofit helped me when I was in need due to a job layoff. I received energy assistance and weatherization of my home. They were an A+ organization to work with and I was so grateful for the economic assistance when I was in such need.

Hello my name is max I'm a dog and recently I had to go to the human society for an ear infection well they helped me with my ear problem but when I was there I caught a very bad cough it's deep and sounds very bad and I can't stop coughing since I've been there witch was about 2 months ago and I don't go any were else maybe a walk here and there but I don't go around other animals and I went back to see if the human society would help me with my cough but they turned me away and said I didn't catch it there so now I'm stuck with this cough that's getting worst every day so if u need to go there I would be very careful about letting ur animals in the building they r denieing me for catching kennel cough from there building so please if u don't want to catch what I caught there then take ur animals some were else thanks max

I first was introduced to Corbin when I was taking care of my Grandmother. Corbin became very important to her well being. She took classes in writing, which she so loved. Exercise and outings were events that kept her vibrant and wanting more. She attended for years, then I lost her. <br>Years later, my love of seniors moved me in the direction of serving seniors at a Local retirement center. This put me back on the Corbin Map. I provided progressive lunches for Corbin members for years. Then one day a mutual aquaitence asked if I could join the Board at Corbin. I was elated to serve and became a member myself. After all it's where the cool kids play. I worked on many events and auctions helping make money for Corbin. I love the classes and wonderful lunches. I started bringing bus loads of residents to enjoy the offerings. They loved the well organized and enchanting boutique. I to bought many an item there myself. I look forward to seeing the two Joan's at the helm of Corbin s Thrift Boutique. <br>I would recommend supporting this wonderful establishment. I have seen Corbin transform lives. It transformed mine in more ways then one. Just think, you could become one of they cool kids. Please consider a donation. What a special experience in Spokane ! The annual Free Fall Folk Festival, sponsored by the Spokane Folklore Society, is dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of folk music and culture. The festival attracts over 6,000 people each year who enjoy over 300 performers representing 100 performing groups and many cultural traditions. I am updating a previous review. After nearly 20 years as a volunteer and participant at the Women's Hearth, I have found that I must part ways with Transitions. New staff has brought changes that are not in keeping with the organizations mission & values. I can no longer support an organization that greets me with their back to the door and habitually kicks out mentally ill women it advertises itself to be a resource for. For those who have nowhere else to go to keep out of the sun or the cold it's tolerable, I'm sure. But things have changed and not in a good way. I leave so distressed every time I go. I loved visiting with the women and it I miss them tremendously, but I must keep my visits far and few between in order to maintain my own sanity. The staff just has no interest in the clients at all anymore.

my father was diagnosed with cancer on larynx(squamous cell carcinoma), he underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy under the supervision of a renowned doctor(Mr S.H Advani) in Mumbai(India). Post radiation he suffered intenstly frm food senstivity while sollowing, lost of saliva formation and slowly when time unfolded, he felt difficulty in breathing. Consecutive 3 visits after chemo and radiation test were normal with the help of direct laryngoscopy from oncology surgion. Whn difficulty in breathing arised post normal reports, he was followed with tracheotomy for breathing assistant finally solved his breathing issue. But the major issue was doctor felt it may disease in neck region during bronchoscopy. I was alarmed by there caution therfore i started searching alternate cure available in market and stopped my search at Carctol. I am sending this information coz i have already started it since the doctor became suspicious and i am witnessing good change in his condition. I am claiming any miracle rather i am highlighting some information that has been implemented by myself and waiting for superior results.. in other words "cure" from root. One of the most successful projects of the Spokane Arts Commission and its support organization, Spokane Arts Fund, for 2010 has been our summer murals program. Spokane artist, Melissa Cole, has been working with young people from the community to create murals at 4th and Sunset and in the 100 blocks of Monroe and Lincoln. Funding was provided by Inland Northwest Community Foundatio, Rotary 21, Inland Northwest Labor Council, Councilman Jon Snyder, and from numerous small contributions. In-Kind support was provided by the Fire Department, Stormwater Maintenance and by the Downtown Spokane Cean Team.
