Causes: Community Recreational Centers, Sports
Mission: To provide self-sustaining educational programs with an environment that promotes positive life skills and values through the sport of sailing to children of all economic and ethnic backgrounds. Using sailing as a vehicle to empower all participants, young and old, sail salem's youth and adult programs will help develop independence and self confidence, improve communication, foster teamwork, and acquire a deeper understanding of community spirit and the power of volunteerism.
