Mission: Safe Harbor Ministries, Inc., founded in 1990, grew out of an effort to help church members deal with problems created by spouses, children or relatives who abused drugs or who were chemically dependant. Each year the need grew thus services steadily expanded to include counseling, educational presentations, prayer and recovery support groups. Networking provides resources to refer individuals, couples and families to live-in recovery programs ranging from 7 days to one year in length. Our willingness to help furnish household goods, including large furniture and appliances, allows us to stand apart from similar agencies. We have been especially successful in helping folks become reestablished in the community and church after leaving rescue programs or prisons.
