Mission: The rural health network of scny, inc's mission is to advance the health and well-being of rural people and communities. The agency accomplishes this through five major programs: (1) community health services - ensuring access to affordable, quality healthcare and support services by helping individuals access and navigate the health care system, (2) the food and health network - work to increase the consumption of healthy, locally grown food throughout the region, (3) getthere - program serves five counties and operates a transportation information and assistance call center that works to help those with transportation needs to find workable, affordable solutions, (4) rural health planning and technical assistance - work at the local and regional level to provide assistance with health related needs assessments, planning and project implementation.
