Mission: Royal family production, inc. Has two goals: to develop and produce character-driven new plays that are often based on true stories, and create a process where emerging theatre artists collaborate closely with seasoned professionals in the creation of these works.
Programs: Held afterschool classes at 3 locations, serving 260 children with 16 performances and reaching approximately 800 audience members.
developed the new york premiere of the play love/sick, by john cariani. There were 15 performances, with a total attendance of 645 people. Of that total, 484 were free tickets.
through our emerging artists program there was a public reading of the new play a through e. A total of 26 invited guests and artists were in attendance. In addition, the continued development of cheesecake girl, a new musical based on the life of genya ravan. This public, fully staged reading included 2 performances and reached 154 people.
