Ropheka Rock of the World Ministries is a game-changer for those individuals and families who have met unexpected crisis in their lives. Ropheka has championed holistically viable programs to positively impact the local communities in Atlanta for nearly 30 years through educational development and GED programs, after school mentoring/ tutoring programs, post incarceration program for family self sustainability, family counseling, family aide through their food/furniture banks as well as life skill classes to improve opportunities to gain successful careers as many. Ropheka has provided scholarships for inner city youth, feed the homeless, mentored those less fortunate, and enouraged the hopeless. Ropheka's impact is far- reaching to say the least. Ropkeka is committed and driven by her passion for help others. Ropheka has been in the trenches for decades doing what others only dream or talk about doing. Ropeka is lead by Dr.Deborah James and an executive board who gets down one their knees and lifts others to success. I have traveled to well over 20 countries and this organization is a "rare" find. Mission: Ropheka Rock of the World Ministries, Inc. (RRWMI) is an organization with "the church" vision. It is comprised of local and international members committed to the development of people. New members are welcomed. RRWMI recognizes the importance of spiritual development in society. The members of RRWMI have been active in community outreach for several years. In March of 1993, the organization was officially incorporated as a non-profit 501(C)(3) Human Service Organization. Ropheka Inc., is a member of the Georgia Black United Fund Combined Federal Campaign Federation (CFC), which administrates a Federal, State, City and Corporate employees contribution campaign (AT&T, IBM, Bell Laboratories, Safeway Corp, Etc.). Individuals employed may designate contributions to Ropheka Inc. through their payroll contribution deduction plan.
