I have had the privilege of working with HOPE as a community provider for a few years. From the first day of introduction until now, this organization and leadership team has been professional, consistent and intentional with executing the company's mission. Through HOPE's outreach, lives have been changed, are being changed and will continue to be changed for generations to come. I can personally acknowledge that this company lives up to it's name, HOPE. Thanks for all you do and may you all continue to instill HOPE in all who crosses your path.

H.O.P.E. Inc. provides single parent students with monthly housing and childcare assistance! How amazing is this? I remember being a young single mother in my early twenties, working full time while trying to maintain stability and security for my young daughter. I didn't have much family support and did not have help from my child's father. Mrs. Kenita Smith, founder and CEO of HOPE, created this organization after experiencing similar struggles that I faced. If an organization like this was around when I was obtaining my degree, I believe that I could have graduated earlier and obtained a higher paying job much faster than I did. It took me 8 years to complete my master's degree because I had to work 3 jobs just to make ends meet. The assistance that is provided through HOPE is much more than housing and childcare. The HOPE team truly cares about the participants in this program and want to see each parent graduate so that they can provide a financially secure and stable life for their children. HOPE provides the parents with a financial advisor to help them pay down debts, create an emergency savings, and work towards any financial goals they have, along with providing access to therapists that partner with HOPE, each participant and their children have access to therapy to help overcome any trauma or stressors that they struggle with daily due to their current circumstances. This program is truly life changing.

H.O.P.E Inc. is the definition of a helping hand. This non-profit not only shares resources but connects you with assistance through other programs if they can't assist you due to the need for emergency services. However, more importantly, they aid single parents to help them get their degrees and set up themselves for success in the future through budget coaching. I love that this organization is an ongoing program that assists through rental assistance, childcare groceries, and more! I wish more parents about this!

Being selected for this opportunity by Hope has definitely helped make life easier for my daughter and I. I have more time to focus on school and give my child more quality time. The other benefits has also been rewarding to my overall well being and I couldn’t be more than grateful. The mentors have been understanding with addressing my needs, being straightforward and listening to any concerns that I may have. This has been a blessing for me and I’m sure I’ll continue to have a positive experience on my journey to reach my goals.

HOPE is an organization that puts its mission and purpose into action. Being a part of the HOPE organization is inspirational. Thanks to support from HOPE, low-income single-parents complete college degrees while caring for their children and building skills well beyond the degree.

See, I personally know. My father used to say, "finish the degree it will be your long-term plan". HOPE closes the gap and provides the support for the whole well being, it's what I call the additive (financial training, counseling and social services).

Even before the pandemic, I found myself consistently playing catch up. It was challenging, especially when feeling alone and stressing to make things work for myself and my kids. Life seemed to be launching problems at me until I recognized that I can create the life I want to live if I believed I could and thought on a higher frequency. After doing that I found myself creating better relationships and receiving an abundance of opportunities. I am beyond thankful for the HOPE program as an extra source of support throughout my journey.

HOPE, Inc. generously serves single parents who need childcare and rental assistance. The process is simple and the staff helps you a lot. They even provide resources where they aren't able to assit. I highly recommend reaching out to them if you're in need of help

HOPE, Inc has been an incredible support and a huge blessing in my life. I am a single mother, and I work and attend school. Even with working, sometimes I have struggled to pay rent, pay for school supplies, and make ends meet altogether. HOPE, Inc gave me, well, hope. They are helping me with a portion of my rent until I get my degree, and that is such a huge load off my back! They helped with my kids' school supplies this year, which is another huge blessing. They have people who specifically help with budgeting and expenses, as well as with keeping me accountable financially. As a single mom, learning how to be a good steward of my money is so important, and I have set financial goals now. My goal is homeownership, and that's something I've never felt like I even had a chance at before. Now I believe it is possible, and it is something for me to work even harder towards. I've only been with HOPE, Inc for a short time, but in that time, they have shown me so much encouragement, support, and love. I wish I had known about them sooner, but I know that God has a plan and His timing is perfect. My name is Erica, and I am a single mom. Of two daughters and in nursing school, I got into the Hope program, and I am truly blessed and so happy to be a part of the program. Not only does it help me with my rent until I finish my nursing program. It helps with financial advising and counseling if you need it, and it also helps with my daughter's school supplies. I am so pleased, especially since I love Danielle and Kenita and everything that comes with the program. I know when I finish, I can give back; I will help out and donate to help single mom's this program is life-saving.

They have helped me tremendously ! I love the support the love and the empathy with my unique situation ! They are great at everything and make sure to pour into you from finances , mental and physical . GOD is moving all through this company and I pray they get bigger and bigger ! I don't know where I would be as a single mom of two teenage boys without the Hope organization. I am over 40 years old and decided to go back to school to further my education and career after the COVID pandemic. I did not know how I was going to make it through school only able to work part-time. The hope program gave me a sense of relief and help, that I did not know existed. I have learned so much from the programs and training they have provided. I am so grateful to be a part of this organization.

So glad to be contributing to this org each month. It’s great to see how, why & where my money goes. I really feel like I’m contributing to the success of actual people and I see their success!

HOPE Inc has been a huge blessing to me & my son. They not only understands the struggle but also gives encouragement, guidance, hope, and peace of mind. Since I have been in the program, HOPE has helped me with my rent, financial coaching and beyond. They have paid my rent on time and helped bring my rent up to be current, relieving me of the burden of worrying about my rent and allowed me to focus more on my studies. They have also helped and enabled me to continue to stay in school and have also empowered me with the knowledge and tools needed to manage my finances and I am definitely in a better place now financially and emotionally than when I first started. I recently became aware of Hope Inc. organization and the many non-profit services they offer in my community. I know of a few families that would have benefit from the multitude help and support Hope Inc. provides. The organization efforts to improve people lives is encouraging to me to get involved as well. The staff is welcoming and shows empathy to people and family needs. No matter the place you call home, volunteers with skills too assist people in need are always needed. I will do my best help where and when I can.

This organization has been a God send for my family! HOPE has done so much to not only assisting me financially but also setting me up for continued success with seminars, budgeting assistance, and many other learning opportunities.

Hope has been such a blessing to my daughters and me! Their support has allowed me to work more hours. For example, they are making provisions for aftercare. In contrast, before, I would have to leave work early to pick my daughters up. The resources and assistance they continuously provide us have made things smoother as single parents while in nursing school. When school started this year, funds were tight, and gas was extremely high. They provided us with gas cards and gift cards for school supplies. For that, I will forever be grateful and appreciative!

H.O.P.E. is an organization that prides itself on the efficiency with which it turns donor dollars into tangible impacts for its served communities in the Atlanta Metro area. It's this ability to drive immediate, direct, positive impact that initially drew me to the organization. H.O.P.E. doesn't just claim to contribute to breaking the cycle of poverty, it has the bona fide statistics to back it up. More than 90% of the program's graduates increased their income by $25,000.,38% of program participants were the first in their families to graduate from college, and more than 80% of graduates now report having emergency savings funds. I'm humbled by the opportunity to serve on the board of such a high-performing organization and can't wait to grow the program over the next few years.

Where do I begin..... Having HOPE in my life has been a drastic change. I've faced constant struggle after struggle and just when I thought I was at the end of the rope, I gained new family within HOPE. What Kenita and Tiffany has done was open the eyes of single parents to believe they can succeed despite doing things alone. Depsite any struggles or fears and accidents or confusion you have HOPE. They are a beacon of lite for parents who just need help themselves, services ranging from housing stipends, child care subsidies to counseling and financial services.They look at the most intimate needs for your family specifically and target how and where they can step in to assist as best they can. Being a full time student working and a single parent isnt something that comes easy but it can be done. HOPE gives you that encouragement and guidance. You have no reason why you can't succeed with all the help HOPE provides. This forum isnt big enough to express the gratitude and appreciation I feel over how much a life changer they are. If I could rate more than a 5 star it would be 100. I normally don’t write reviews but I had to with this organization. When I thought there was no hope I found HOPE Inc. I couldn’t believe this was the only organization that I have seen to assist single women and men in Atlanta,ga. who are working towards a better life through educated themselves. To know that there is help it’s such a blessing to my children and I. I felt like giving up once I got accepted into Nursing School. I didn’t know how much of a demand nursing school was. I knew I wouldn’t make financially . I prayed about it and set in my mind if it’s meant to be something will come available and there was HOPE Inc. HOPE Inc. is the best with wonderful people. If others would follow this organization what a wonderful world it could be.

I found this program while researching single mom scholarships. It took me a year to prepare and meet HOPE's program requirements which tells you how effective the program can be for a determined single parent. Once I became eligible, I learned Kenita(Founder) was in a very similar situation as I and completely understood the struggle of being a single parent and having to choose finances over school. Her understanding alone brought tears of relief to my eyes. HOPE not only gives hope but financial stability, financial literacy, and cultural support for African Americans. For the first time in my school career since I began in 2017, I don't feel stressed. I feel supported. The program offers so many things that we parents don't have to think about just attend, be attentive and open to recieving information. I love that. I highly recommend this program to single parents needing to bridge the financial gap while in college.

As a single mother and a full time student trying to get through college, things could become really tough financially. This organization has truly been a huge blessing in my life during this time. I was informed of this blessing of an organization, (Hope Be organization) by my schooI attend when completing my my degree started to look uncertain. I was so excited to know that this type of program existed. This program has not only helped me financially with rent assistance and child care but they also offer financial coaching which would help me in life. Hopbe Inc has been there for my children and I through some really hard times, as a mother of four I have been so fortunate to have Hopbe step in when I was in college and assist me with rental payments and childcare expenses. As a mathematics tutor, I have traditionally worked with students side-by-side. But, HOPE has introduced me to "online" tutoring which has opened up a whole new way to assist students using a computer or pad with their math assignments.

The convenience of tutoring students from their home is convenient and I hope makes them more at ease with the learning process.

I have been volunteering now for just over two months and look forward to continuing math help in the future.

Kenita, and the Hope inc. foundation has been a true blessing to my family. I am a single mother of a middle schooler, who is also a full time student working to accomplish a life long dream while also working a part time job. This can be overwhelming and has definitely caused financial hardships throughout my school enrollment. Hope has eliminated some stress by paying a portion of my rent, getting my child, who struggles academically, a tutor, giving me access to a counselor to speak with as well as a list of other things. I’m not sure if I would be on the road to completing my degree with a 3.99 cumulative gpa if it wasn’t for hope!

Hello all I am very new to this program. I would like to say thank you! As a single parent of two, with one child that has special needs it is such a blessing to be apart of an organization that has a lot to offer. Many opportunities have opened up for me as a I walk this journey. It won't be easy but with the support of Hope Inc my mind is at ease.

Being a single mother trying to better myself presents countless obstacles to overcome. Basic government benefits are unavailable to me because I am in school! HOPE Inc gives me more than just empowerment. HOPE Inc brings me peace of mind that spreads out into all areas of my life. It is a true blessing!

This program has helped me and my children in so many ways,we are truly blessed to have them. My oldest daughter is in the 11th grade and this program have given her hope and I'm so thankful. My daughter saw how hard I was struggling with work and school before entering the program and determined that college wasn't an option for her. We joined hope and she know now that she can go to school and become anything she dream of becoming, my debt and my mistakes didn't get the best of me because of this program and now all five of my kids have plans for college.
I love the president as well as her awesome team, they all have nothing but love for every participant in their program. They inspire me I so many ways, they make me want to give my all and then some because they truly believe in me. Thank you Hope for being the biggest motivation to me and my children. Yes they even impact my kids in a major way, they offer tutors as well as counseling for my children and having that matters a whole lot when you have had a hard time in life. Hope kept my dream alive even when I stopped dreaming and I hope and pray that they continue to do that for many families. H.O.P.E. gives hope to single parents who thought they'd never be able to go back to school. H.O.P.E. is a phenomenal nonprofit who's leadership is passionate and purposeful about the success of its participants. The nonprofit is continually expanding in its service offering, and from my vantage point, will go far in accomplishing its mission.

I work with HOPE, Inc. as a consultant, helping the Executive Director redefine the organization's mission, goals, and measurable objectives, and also creating a strategic evaluation plan. I am so impressed by how far HOPE has come in the short time it has been serving. It has already made a huge difference in the lives of single-parents attending college. I believe this organization has a huge potential to serve many in this local community, and eventually the program can be effectively duplicated in other markets. I work for Georgia State University and Kenita Pierce-Lewis reached out to me looking for referrals for single parent students that she could assist with her services. I was more than happy to connect her to one of our Social Work professors who knew of students who could benefit from HOPE. Imagine how happy and surprised our students were to receive support and encouragement as they worked hard to complete their education with the added responsibility of being a single parent!

First and foremost H.O.P.E. Inc exceeds 5 Stars. Too bad that is the limit that we can rate. This is how a nonprofit organization should be ran. This organization is not only professionally operated, but it is operated with compassion, standards, and love. Hope isn't just a staff or team, they operate like a family unit. The first person I spoke to whom name is Charmaine was such a sweetheart. Very pleasant and happy to want to help. I didn't get that feeling of just being another number or statistic. I didn't get treated like a failure or burden. I was encouraged from day one by her and lifted up. Some of us been getting beat down. let down, and ran down. H.O.P.E. Inc doesn't waste anytime in evaluating your situation. The President CEO Kenita Lewis is such a blessing and has a heart of Gold. That heart of gold trickles down into everyone else that is working with her. You will get more than you expect from H.O.P.E.

H.O.P.E. Inc is out help and empower single parents whom are working F/T and in school F/T. What I love about H.O.P.E. is that they don't just want to assist you. They don't want to just give you money and let you be. They truly want to empower you. They don't want all the hard work of a single parent whom is in school and work be in vain. We know when we are financially strapped, it is hard for us to concentrate and focus on things. Our grades can be effected along with our job performance, and parenting.

Hope even offers counseling to their candidates. H.O.P.E. offers financial education to their clients as well. I mean some of us aren't as financially educated as we can be. They use Dave Ramsey whom is a great teacher on fiances using Biblical principles.

Another thing I am so thankful for and love about H.O.P.E. Inc is that they don't discriminate. I am a single father and let me tell you. I am working on my Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies. I have had doors slammed in my face and denied help just because I am a man. I have gotten strung along in the family court system, child support system, and financial help system. I have gotten the, "You're a man attitude" so you don't need our help. Not with H.O.P.E. Inc though. I was embraced with love and so welcomed. They welcomed me with open arms and didn't make me feel like less of a man because of my current situation which is turning around.

H.O.P.E. Inc isn't just a nonprofit organization to me. They are an answer to my prayers from God. I know everybody isn't a believer, but I truly am and H.O.P.E. strengthens my belief. When I was down and out, I didn't give up, I found Hope :-)

Hold on and don't give up, there is and always H.O.P.E.

I am a single mom of three children. I am presently enrolled in college where I am getting a Bachelor's Degree. It has been very challenging for me to juggle home, self, school, and keep a steady income coming in so that mine and the children needs are met. I don't have the help of the boys father at all. I am a hairstylist by trade. I was talking to one of my clients one day and she is older than I am, and she knew something was wrong with me. So, she told me about this great organization that could possibly help take the stress off me while I was trying to make a better life for my family. Well, needless to say, I applied for the program. I got to share, along with the other women, in the stress-reliving programs. I didn't know that people cared that much! I also am learning better to manage my money with the Dave Ramsey system that they gave to all of us. They prayed for me and with me. Hope Inc has changed my life so much, for the better. This organization really cares. I couldn't have believed that my prayers for support and loving people could show up in this way. I am so grateful to have this opportunity to spread the word about Hope Inc, because they really help you to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

This is not just a nonprofit, this is an organization that works hard and geninuely cares about people. It strives to not just donate money but donate time and connect with people to help in all aspects of life. It is about growth.
I was one of these single parents and could still be one of these single parents. Any of us could be and that is were the compassion lies in the heart of understanding and knowing the struggle of life with children, school and work. It is an Awesome feeling to Geninuely know you have made a difference and are apart of a life changing experience.

This non-profit is run by an incredibly driven, compassionate, hard-working individual. Her passion shows in the emails and numerous different events the organization participates in. She cares for her clients and tries to provide whole-life support. A wonderful group!

As a product of a single parent household I seen firsthand the struggles of a mother having to do it all. Single parents has to sacrifice so much and many times that sacrifice is education. So to be apart an organization that has such a major impact on the family dynamic by breaking the cycle of what usually leads to poverty, is such a great and rewarding feeling. To see so many stories of success that not only effect the individual participant but that child and eventually the community at large. HOPE inc is doing just that providing hope by Helping Other People Be Empowered.

I have had the opportunity to witness first hand the hard work that HOPE puts in to make a difference in the lives of the families they have provided assistance to over the years. Many of the individuals at some point or the other either dial in to the teleconference bible study prayer line orshow up to show their support for the founder during a speaking engagement. HOPE, Inc is making a tremendeous difference in one family at a time.

Hi, my name is Yakima and I am new to the Hope program. I interviewed with both Ms Charmaine and Ms Kenita and it felt good not to be looked down upon due to my mental disorder and current financial set back. My kids walked out on us anf it has been a struggle raising two children. The program makes me feel welcome and makes me feel there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Ms. Kenita motivates us and want to see each and everyone us succeed. It feels good to have the extra support from the.program!

I live in Arizona, and learned about H.O.P.E. Inc through Sparked, a micro-volunteer online website. I started working with Kenita, the CEO, on copy writing of grant proposals, editing of donation letters, volunteer thank you letters, copy write for letterhead logos, working with other volunteers working on the design of various logos, etc. This allowed Kenita to work on the BIGGER projects that she dealt with day to day. I got so involved in the concept, helping single parents better themselves, in order to have a better live for their children. We all want a better life for our children than we had, and I so applaud all of those single parents that seek help to improve their lives through education! I have been working with Kenita and H.O.P.E. Inc for over a year now, completing online, and it is a great feeling to know that I can still help those even though I am so FAR away! I really believe in the cause!

I am a single mom who is being helped by Hope, Inc. The help that I have received has allowed me to go to school full time, work, have an internship, and still see my daughter in the evenings. I am so grateful to Hope for helping moms like me who are trying to do it all.

HOPE is such a great organization that is making a difference in the lives of single moms. It is of great help to me. As a single mother of two girls, working and attending school, it was very difficult to make full payments on my monthly rent. Since HOPE started assisting me with my rent payments, my rent is paid on time and I don't have to worry about late payments. HOPE has made it easier for me to concentrate on my studies and get good grades in school.
I am in debt to this organization and will recommend them to anyone, especially single moms that are struggling in school. I hope others will see how helpful HOPE is, and donate to it's good work. The founder and her officials are doing a great job and I am proud to be a recipient of their generous services.

After having my son only a year ago at the young age of 21, I quickly had to face the real world. However, I was determined to complete school while growing up and taking full responsibilty of my son, even if it was by myself. After months of struggling to balance school, work, and motherhood, I found this wonderful organization who not only helped me financially but most importantly gave me the motivation that I needed to continue this difficult journey. The HOPE Organization and its members have been inspiring and helpful, through things like their monthly webinars-teaching us about finance, budgeting, etc., their optional weekly bible studies, and just their almost weekly emails just to check on us. I still have a long way to go and struggle daily with life's challenges, but the HOPE Organization has really helped out tremendously in making things easier and I am grateful to have their support.

I first learned about HOPE Inc earlier this year, when the founder contacted me for fundraising advice. I've worked in a lot of different nonprofits, sat on nonprofit boards, and have been writing for three years about the nonprofit sector. After learning about their programs, I was astonished that no one else was serving the clients they serve in Georgia. They are truly filling a desperate need in helping single parents finish college. A friend of mine is an adult student in college and it is extremely difficult for him to work fulltime and finish school. I can only imagine how much harder it is when you have kids to take care of as well. I learned how efficient HOPE Inc are with their funds, and it's truly remarkable, how many people they are helping with such a tiny budget! They have more people requesting their services than they can handle. When parents finish college, their kids will be more likely to finish college as well. And a college degree is one of the best ways to get economic upward mobility. They are truly helping generations of people escape poverty. If you're looking for a small, dedicated and efficient nonprofit to give to, I would give to them.
